After completing BG1 and transitioning to BG2 Imoen has begun to cause problems. She now talks every second of the game without end stopping me from actually playing the game. This is irritating and it makes me long for the time when Irenicus takes her away. Is there a way to make her stop initiating the same conversation over and over again?
Do the BG2 dialogues take over now in BG2, removing the BG1 g3 banter or do the BG2 dialogues get overriden by the g3 talk?
Is there an easy way to uninstall the weidu BG1 NPC banterpack? It seems like that might solve the problem.
I have:
BG1
BG 2
TOB
TOTSC
Tactics
Ascension
Item upgrade
Ease of use (stacking and a few other parts)
NPC Banterpack for BG1
g3 anniversary mod
GT BG1NPC Banter Conflict

The BG1 Banter pack knows nothing about SoA. If anything, this may actually be a problem but I doubt there are many banters this would affect. Most of the banters require you to be in a certain area (forest, city, etc) or with a certain other NPC. Many that deal with the current situation (flooding the mines, wandering around Candlekeep, etc) have area checks for these areas. So the banter will not kick in somewhere else.
I am not sure why Imoen would continue to talk to you. What is the dialog she says? That would at least tell us which mod this comes from.

The dialogue it triggers is the one where you talk to her. It only happened, and would trigger every half second, when the "Master...Master?" guy's cell was in my inventory in the first dungeon. So I dropped it and it stopped bothering me.
Now it is causing some trouble with the Jaheira/Harpers thread. I think I can work it out though by playing with Near Infinity.
Another bit of pondering I had is about the boots from the weidu item upgrade mod. If anyone knows more than I do about this I am wondering why the boots of avoidence mix costs more, and why the haste seems to no longer be on when they are upgraded to any of the options.

Once you begin BG2, you should be able to uninstall BG1NPC without experiencing any problems.
