Back from the brink.
Like RPGs? Like Star Wars? Think combining the two would be fun? Read Darths and Droids, and discover the line "Jar Jar, you're a genius".
These, in the day when heaven was falling,
The hour when earth's foundations fled,
Followed their mercenary calling
And took their wages and are dead.

Just a small break before I hit back at the other three options (BG1, BG2+TOB and WCIII)
Still trying to also get NWN2 working, but now I just need to update my video card, go figure xD
Still hope to start it up soon.

Aww. So jealous...
Don't be too jealous. Repair bills after a hard night of wiping on Vashj can drift into territory for folks with near-full purple gear (not meaning to brag-my plans for training for epic flight form have had to be scrapped on account of raiding expenses).
Anyhow, just finished that round of ToB. I'll be spending the next hour before class playing Bioshock, then writing the next chapter of At Soul's Edge after class and homework, I think.

And in the expansion you don't get to use Pit Lord hero. Instead you get a mixture between Pit Lord and Dreadlord, that is neither. So I've been planning on going through and getting both a Dreadlord, and a Pitlord. (maybe a Dark Ranger with a banshee army too, because that is rather fun to do. And I found that I like the Goblin Alchemist and Mechanics too. Transmute for all time! Spellcasters give extra money.
Anyways, besides that I'm semi-playing NWN, NWN2, and Lego Star Wars 2 on the Xbox, which though odd, is somewhat fun.

And a cruel but very entertaining line the protagonist can say to Peony after she goes off on a spiel about her enormous family and all her relatives that absolutely cracked me up:
"Gnomes should be sterilized."

Praise all the gods of Faerun!Oddly enough, the basically good-aligned romance option for male protagonists is *not* the standard-issue elven maiden. Rather, it's a gnome illusionist on an eternal sugar high

I'm batting about with Custom games on Warcraft 3 right now. Trying different things. Going with all x armies. Had a troll hero with appropriate army, and a tauren group to compliment it. Playing undead I snuck in a dark Ranger, dropped her with Banshees, a Crypt Lord and Crypt Fiends, and then a Mountain King, and riflemen/Gryphon riders (I charmed a peasant, and later a peon and wisp as well.) Archmage/Firelord with Sorceresses/Priests, Blood Mage Priests/Spellbreakers. And a Warden/Priestess duo with Huntress/Archers, and a Archdruid & Druids group. My new one I think shall be restricted to only dwarves. Nothing else. I'm very in a dwarvish mood, which kinda leaves me down since I have no Dwarves ready for anything anywhere. Particularly one dwarf, but his campaign world died. But that's another story.
Also on the subject of charming, if you charm/possess an upgraded unit, before a worker you'll start your charmed race with whatever upgrades were on the charmed unit.
And on the subject of Dwarves, my next BG runthrough (which I'll be beginning soon) will feature a Dwarf PC. Any good Dwarven romances out there?
