Maybe searching for WeiDU.log in the BGT-WeiDU forum might help out. Anyway, I'm too lazy to do anything with this thread at the moment. Let's see what happens...I am looking for successful installs with a fair number of mods that revolve around BGT-WeiDU. I know there must be other people who are interested in this as well.

My first post . This is my weidu log. WeiDU.log.rar 5.16K 169 downloads
I am just about to finish chapter 4 and everything went just fine so far . I also changed kivan's kit to archer and Imoen's to swachbackler.
Tip: With ALL those mods u should biff up your override in order to avoid slowdowns. Also if you experience these slowdowns try to disable ambient sounds.
Something which might seem stupid and i just can't give an explanation why but it worked for me. After some point I started to have strange slowdowns which could not be solved with the above "solutions". I tried everything I read in all IE game forum's with no luck. I tried to see if this was an area related problem so i clua transfered my party to a different area where there was no slowdown. Strangely after finding such an area and reloading the save game i made prior trasfer the slowdown disapeared.
Excuse my english its not my mother lang.

where can i find latest version? I think i d/l this one from wizard.his is old nej, buggy, author not supporting and is known to uncompatible

didnt change the text in weidu query (h should be replaced with i)
it works fine. I tested HLA and shapeshifting fix and everything works ok .I think refinements should go after after bgt-weidu (assuming it is compatible not sure tho)
There was a problem installing it after bgt weidu in a previous attempt. The same with the fixes. Trying to install them last produced an installation error. This installation order stayed as it is cause after many tries (i mean MANY) was the one that accepted most of the mods I found. I hope that installing the fixes before other mods will allow me to play through the large mods normaly. Ctb starts correctly with the chores etc and entering the portal at irenicus dungeon starts NEJ normaly too.

Wrong. The first edition is not supported, is not available, and is far away from the second edition.
You are not supposed to get correct answers about NeJ2 here at SHS. Please visit our forum boards at BWL.

My party:
protagonist: SaKiS-Inquisitor
Minsc-Ranger (Use him as fighter/tank, he also holds a bow using it rarely)
Kivan-Archer(Sniper-scout)
Imoen-swashbackler (wanna dual her at lvl 10 to mage)
Jaheira-figther/druid (healer-buffer-figther)
Garrick-skald(always wanted to have a bard-type in my party)
I also added zone of sweet air, and harpers call lvl 3 and lvl 5 priest spells to jaheira
** Note: I miss finch
I expected my party to become really powerful fast since the xp comes in, really fast and the items added by some of the mods (e.g Bonehill) were not designed to be used against <9 (at least) lvl creatures. Thats why I used mixmod difficulty setting +125+25% hp etc, tactics, tougher sarevok e.t.c. Till now (start of chapter 5) I encountered a good challenge against trolls in firewine bridge and skeletons (casting priest spells *tactics). Game is only a little bit imbalanced but it's fun. Next time I think I am gonna use simdingo's xp mod. I don't know if its necessary though cause I expect battles in bg2 part to be really difficult with the mods I used.
**Note: I play the game in insane.
The only item i decided not to use at all is a ring that gives immunity to arrows (I concider it to be a cheat). All the mods seem to work just fine, (I killed doomsayer the archeologist gave me the firewine quest, found cave near Beregost completed vampiric sword quest, got will's items and upgrade the flail..).
Bug wise there seems to be a problem with dialog (maybe bg1npc v 11 problem). After a while kivan starts conversing like crazy. Another guy had the same problem with imoen http://www.shsforums...showtopic=19048
What I did was clua create a new kivan killed the talky one and clua give him the exact amount of xp he had prior the dialog thing appear. It would have been a little more complicated with a mage since lvling up a mage also cosists of learning new spells... For an archer giving him the xp just makes him identical (I want to believe ) with what he was.
About NEJ version. From what I read in bwl forum I have a weidu version of nej1 or something. Dont really care about that I expect some bugs but I really believe it will be playable. I really have a lot of fun playing it untill this point.

You definately need Defjamv3 for reducing xp. It is highly recommended for bgt-weidu.

This is the first time I play this installation. It is also the first time I will play the large mods. Already seen some things that I will change in future games. I ll continue as it is now. I am looking for bugs/conflicts between the mods.
It is really not that easy insane difficulty and added thac0, AC, HP for the creatures + tactics mod already gave some nice battles. I still insist that bg2 part will be a good challenge. We 'll see.
I tried to go down the stairs in firwine bridge (NToTSC), battle against vampires once again finished with me reloading previous saved game . Mind controled and lvl drained party against 167 hp -5 AC vampires (5 of them) doing double dmg (insane) is really challenging still.
