Conflict with Bhaal - Hunters

Here's my idea.
When you reach the mentioned exp, 6 people will appear around you and your teammembers, and the leader will speak of having a vision where he saw you unleashing a beast from the abyss (no enemy from the BG games, another one), a so called Demifire, and that he and his companions, chosen warriors of Lathander, must kill you to prevent that from happening. They will do it with regret and sadness, but will do it nevertheless. Then the fight begins.
Since I just came up with this idea, I'm not in possession of all the stats and items, but here is a small overview what I had in mind.
The Leader - Name: Radspell. Human Fighter Lv 18/Mage Lv 24
Str: 19 Dex: 20 Con: 19 Int: 19 Wis: 10 Cha: 15
Equipment: Yet to be decided, but he will be in possession of a undropable Blackrazor.
The Second - Name: Moonsea. Human Mage Lv 18/Priest Lv 22
Str: 17 Dex: 22: Con: 17: Int: 19: Wis: 22 Cha: 19
Equipment: Yet to be decided, an undropable Staff of Magic and a Robe of Vecna.
The Third - Name: Furlor. Human Monk Lv 21
Str: 20 Dex: 16: Con: 20 Int: 16: Wis: 20 Cha: 10
Equipment: An undropable Ring of Regeneration.
The Fourth - Name: Ashleya. Human Shapeshifter Lv 15/Fighter Lv 16
Str: 17 Dex: 18 Con: 16 Int: 14 Wis: 20 Cha: 15
Equipment: Two Scimitars +3.
The Fifth - Name: Tokhazz. Human Barbarian Lv 20
Str: 18 Dex: 16 Con: 18 Int: 12 Wis: 12 Cha: 9
Equipment: Stonefire Axe +3, Studded Leather +2 and a Tower Shield +2
The Last - Name: Origonos. Human Undead Hunter Lv 19
Str: 18 Dex: 14 Con: 17 Int: 16 Wis: 16 Cha: 17
Equipment: Full Plate +2, Two Handed Sword +3 and a Helmet of Brilliance.
This is only a rough and uncomplete summary, I will write more when I have given it some thought.
The three first opponents is a bit "modified", but since I came up with this, I wanted it to be a difficult battle with not so many items handed to the PC after a great deal of strain.
Please, tell me what you think.
Don't hesitate to use the chainsaw, I know this is only one more "difficult baddie battle".
Minsc: Minsc will lead with blade and boot! Boo will take care of the details.
Saemon: Pardon?
Aerie: This is gonna hurt you ALOT more than me!
Sarevok: Now I return the favor!
Drizzt: Yes, yes, you have my attention.
Lilarcor: And this one's for Grandma, who said I would never amount to anything more than a butterknife!

Yet to be decided, but he will be in possession of a undropable Blackrazor.
Whether you use undroppable equipment or not is not for me to decide, but a Lathander-worshipper using Blackrazor?

Good point. Good point.Yet to be decided, but he will be in possession of a undropable Blackrazor.

I'll perhaps have to change the God they're following.
While I wouldn't hesitate to create a follower that foolishly has tried to bend an evil item to his will, I agree that one who follows Lathander perhaps shouldn't be wielding such a weapon.
I'll put some changes in my idea. Thanks for posting.
The bigg: Yes, I know it is. My only reply is that I want the opponents to have as much boost as they can get, while you, should you defeat them, will have to settle with a few lesser items. I don't want all my characters owning rings of regeneration or wielding staff of magic.

Overpovered opponents with undroppable equipment suck.

As for the comments about undroppable equipment I would generally ignore them, most players probably don't realise they are dealing with opponents with undropable items throughout the game. It is one of the easier ways of giving opponents the same edge the player's party gets from wielding such items without making the opponent a source of the phat loot.
A lot of players would just kill your party even if they had the dialog options to get out of it if they knew they could get the items by doing so. Stick a new unique item on one of the party members that can be pickpocketed or something, this should keep some people happy and add a feature that very few mods add - new stuff to pickpocket!

Wouldn't it be more funny if a band of level 10 opponents would try to kill PC?

It would, but there are even more of those. Remember the warriors in Abazigals cave?Where the hell are all those level 20 characters coming from?

I have only my idea, but I agree on the "new items" idea, and will change that.
And the charismatic solution.. I like it, making it some grand explanation about the vision, then the warriors apologize, and grants you an item to fight with (or you can just pick pocket it).
As for the "small mod component", I was thinking (just thinking) on having a NPC that will come talk to you in hell (before you leave SoA). This little skeletal NPC (looking all weak and so) would like to join you in your quest to fulfill his own goal - to erase all those undead that now walks the material plane, although he doesn't give any specific reasons about his intentions, merely that he thinks the undead of the material plane are undeserving of existing there. One can only wonder about the skeletonguy himself.
I should either make him a kensai with a halberd (new kind) or make him a new class, a Shaman.
But since I have just begun planning, there are too many lose ends I must fill, and you all gave me something to ponder on. The area does much.

Brilliant!
Attacker: "Take that, foul demon!"
Casts fireball.
Charname: Scratches his nose.
Give them uber equipment that gives immunity to timestop, raises strength, kills summoned monsters instantly.
I thought of a monks robe today that would give you +5 to damage and thaco, +2 attacks per round, +2 dex, increased walking speed (or maybe just permanent improved haste?). as well as target must save vs death at -4 or be stunned, and has a 10% chance to have to save vs death at -8 or be instantly killed. oh and maybe 100% magic resistance.
how about a dual long sword wielding character with permanent greater whirlwind and improved haste with free action? have him cast timestop from a scroll and the whole party is dead.
