i have installed a fresh copy of bg1 and 2 then installed the trilogy and had an error during install *(see bellow)* anyway it come up fine at the end of the 4 part install....i loaded it and when to very start of game (candle keep) so i go all over candle keep and go up to my old man...and he doesnt want to chat so i can leave the 1st area. have i done something to offend him i dont know and i have only 100 exp and no other mods have been done....anyone help

Weird. It seems that your pre-installation setup screwed up somehow. What is your BG1 directory, and what did you type in to the prompt?ERROR: Sys_error("BG1D/IMOEN2Ja.D: No such file or directory")
What do you mean by a 4-part install? And if there is an error, it is not fine to continue. I would try to install from scratch?anyway it come up fine at the end of the 4 part install
What version of BG1, BG2:SoA, and BG2:ToB did you have before you started installing BGT-WeiDU? What languages are they for all those three mentioned?....i loaded it and when to very start of game (candle keep) so i go all over candle keep and go up to my old man...and he doesnt want to chat so i can leave the 1st area.
Have you installed any other modifications BEFORE BGT-WeiDU? What about AFTER? If you answer yes to any of these, EXACTLY what was installed?

nothing has been installed before or after
what was installed......bg1 in c:/bg2.....and tsc....then bg2 and tob...... was installed in same directory then.....i installed bgt preinstall then bgt install

Oh my..did u overwrite ur BG1 game instal by the BG2+ToB game install?
LoL...it can't be done like that...U have to install BG1+TotSC in one directory and BG2+ToB in the other...then copy BGT install files to BG2 folder and run it...

Promilus has it right. You should still install BG1 and BG2 as if they were totally separate games. Then extract 'BGT099Z-Install.rar' to your BG2 directory. Then run Setup-BGT-Prep.exe from your BG2 directory.nothing has been installed before or after
what was installed......bg1 in c:/bg2.....and tsc....then bg2 and tob...... was installed in same directory then.....i installed bgt preinstall then bgt install

Hi, I've got a similar problem. I patched up BG/ToTSC/SoA (I guess it patched. It wouldn't let me w/ToB)/ToB and I'm still getting that same problem. I have Unfinished Business and the Kivan NPC mod installed w/ the Xan NPC mod. I also tried the DSoTSC mod, but...

The strangest thing that gets me is that this ran before w/ almost no bugs (I couldn't recruit Kivan or go above the Friendly Arm Inn to get Ajantis for some reason) but after I installed DSoTSC it blew up on me.
