Okay, here it is: PC's get a chance to buy something for their lover-

Amulet for Jaheira, Poetry Book for Solafein, Flower for Saerilith- things like that.

Well, Mazzy has something similar. It's an animal, I won't give what species it is away, that I'll keep as a surprise for the players. What I need to know, is that once the animal has been freed, should it be kept as an item for Mazzy? (Similar to Boo, or perhaps something else- tell me what properties would be appropriate for an animal) or, if it should be set free into the wild. Thanks in advance to everyone who will vote/opinionate.

Buy a parrot for her.
A parrot that would get along well with Boo.
Imagine Minsc having some comments on that, and what a bond to share!

Or perhaps, just a squirrel.

And hopefully not like a familiar, more of a pet like Boo.
Unless there is secret plans to make Boo useable along with Mazzys pet.

It is kept as an item, Boo/familiar style.

I'd suggest a humming bird, used for scouting, haste(natural) and blur(spell) + dodges ranged and melee attacks well (limited immunity could work too).

That would be good and quite possibly fit with the whole great force of good thing mazzy has going on (Seriously, when was the last time you seen a hummingbird do something evil?)

I cant vote (yet), but I'd say set it free. I think Mazzy would do that.
