You have a strange bug. Each NPC is supposed to have a special dialog file they use when they aren't part of your party anymore. This is where the dialog comes from where they ask you if they should go to the Copper Coronet and wait for you. By not having anyone talk, it sounds like the INTERDIAG.2DA file has gotten corrupt. This is a text file that lists each NPC and which dialog files belong to them.

I never use NPC mods so I don't know about how any of these install. Anyone else? I can't believe one of them caused this. Perhaps another lurking problem on your hard drive? Go into the override folder and use Notepad to open PDIALOG.2DA (not INTERDIAG, not sure why I thought of that first). The text may not be in neat columns but if you can browse the file, it isn't corrupt. N.I. will display the file in it's proper format but you don't need to install that just for this problem.

I have used every one he has listed except Valen and have had no problems with the join/part dialogue or any other dialogues.

I'm just wondering how you plan to play six NPC's, when there are only five slots available for them. :P

I didnt say that I used them all at the same time but I have had them all (except Valen) installed at the same time. I have used each of them (except Valen) in different games and have had no problem.

Did you install the WeiDU versions of these mods or the old mod types? If it is the old mods you will need BP for them to work together.

Forgot about 1 thing. If you have TS and Solafein installed and Sime in the party then Solafeins dialogues will be messed up or the vampire sola's dialogues will be messed up (depending on the install order). Sime has an encounter with 3 vampires (one named sola). If install order is TS and then Solafein then the vampire (sola) will have Solafeins dialogues for joining the party instead of his own effectively screwing up the encounter. Fix for it is to wait to install Solafein after the vampire encounter.
