So I am back after almost two months of figuring out how to improve my overmodded BGT, but...
no solution. I have several questions of not-so-grave importance but theese bugs won't let me play the mods in full circle.
-for some reason the Lobar dialogue won't start concerning the Book of the Unknowning. I used the CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("TalkedToLobarMage","GLOBAL",1) and only attained a question when talking to Lobar concerning the book. However once I clicked the dialogue was over with an empty reply (meaning a gap in the dialogue box, and getting back to command my adventurers).
Well, I also found Oupaste in the Blushing Mermaid. I can talk to him several times without any dialogue options, but on the fourth try he will speak about the book. After the third question (who was the man to whom he sold the book) he will only reply with a "Who?" and get an Journal Update. He mentions some demons and the Cloudpeaks, where the hell should I go?
-second: The Northern Citadel missions. I can't talk to the guy who is crucial on continuing the quest on finding out what happens with all the guards and stuff. The guy, Shelton was his name I think, is below the "shop" (where the beggar looking former mage is). Well, I tried replacing him with the CLUA console command, but the other Shelton won't respond. Nothing.
Is there a command I can use to get through this obstacle? if yes, please post it in the exact form of the CLUAConsole command you have to type in.
-third: I can't enter Beregost, the game will crash, thus I'm unable to complete Jet'Laya's quests (every-thing else in beregost is done) with the necklace/jewel/whatever. Can you post me the Area codes for thr Jovial Juggler and the Thunderhammer smithy (and some other crucial areas needed in Beregost)? Thanks in aadvance.
I am really sorry to rob your time, but I am struck as hell. And I have no intention of playing anything else now in my spare time. And can you give me a hand with such stuff? Despite being at academy on program-ming (what i shall soon leave) I can't do shit with the computers, especially in-game programming.
Sory again, and btw, a bit late, but Merry Christmas to you all.
Several questions concerning Dsotsc and Nsotsc

Had the same problem
you have the old version of mods instaled
give me a moment and i`ll find my topic;)
Edit
You should find all answers you need here

EDIT 2
About beregost it`s some equipment from the mods that causes the crash. If you have the bag take off your equipment and put it there that should work (at least it worekd for me).

No it won't work. Even with naked characters the game freezes down. The save game goes ok, but when loading the area it is Windows bump sound and program not responding. Same with consoling myself to Beregost. Any way I can anull this fault or corruption?
No and I am not going to redo the whole BG1 because of this. I am at the end, and this is my luckiest charaxter so far (guess what, four 18 and the minimal is one 11 stat, no shit )
Anyways all help is apreaciated. The best would be the consoling to the area, since I've experimented with that and got to several of the houses in Beregost. I need the Jovial Juggler in particular, or is there some way to erase and rewrite Beregost in my savegame file?

I can't give you the area codes because I'm at work but have you tried with NI to erase Beregost from your savegame file? Easy way to know the area code yourself is to create a new game and head directly to Beregost then press X when you get there.I need the Jovial Juggler in particular, or is there some way to erase and rewrite Beregost in my savegame file?
With NI you can decompress BALDUR.GAM (or is it BALDUR.SAV I always get confused between them two) and then you have a clickable list of all the areas you have visited delete the Beregost AR and compress the file again. Load your save game and try entering Beregost.
Please take a copy of your savegame (just save the game twice, once in quicksave and once in normal save) so if something goes wrong you can always go back to the other savegame.

Yes, this is more than a year old, but since I have a similar problem with High Hedge, it might help referring that simply CLUAing MoveToArea(...) works without crashing.

Go to the Cloudpeaks!
That is the area West of Nashkel where the boy with Wolfie is. Head to the bottom of the map, near the water and look around.
