Since I've been starting quite a many topics here recently, I'll start this one and add any future portrait edits to this thread. And I'll start with my favourite rogue portrait edit, of which I now made a larger sized version. The original is on the left and my edit on the right. Any comments are welcome.

What a nice rogue! The edited one looks... I dunno... younger? I think so, but as he has no wrinkles at all on his face, he looks like not quite alive. How shall I put it? Like it's an oil painting on the wall, not a live-photo like your avatar for example.
I tire... I'll be MUCH MORE AGREEABLE with REST!!

Yeah, I was aiming for a younger look, but I may have overdone it, as I now see when I look at it. Thanks for pointing it out, I sometimes go for a too perfect look that doesn't really look human, just like a painting as you said. So, how's this?

The edited one does look younger and the overall picture looks smoother and easier on the eyes. Excellent work dewd, keep it up

Thanks a lot! :) I'll keep posting these once in a while, when I actually manage to get started on some portrait ... that can be difficult, ya know. ;)

Pretty-pretty! And the girl is great too! Hmm, considering her hair colour, what about making her a Drow? ;)

Its great, the girl now doesn't look like she has a crooked mouth. Excellent work! :) Also, the image looks sharper and still smooth at the same time, the original has this blurry look that I don't quite like.

Her new clothes and the scarf are gorgeous, and I like the sharpening of the face. I do have a niggle about her lips, though - they look a little too glossed for a fantasy setting.

Thanks. :) Heh, well, if you look at the original portrait you'll see that they were that to begin with, and I may have made them more so, but let me assure you that it was intentional and a necessary part of her looks. Even if no one else had invented make-up in FR, at least the priestesses of Sune would have... so, I think it isn't that out of ordinary. ;)

Umm... sorry to be picky but... during the conversion to Drow you've lost the highlighting on the skin and so it's made the entire face look flat. Tweaking Curves might help, or if really pushed, selecting the areas with a feather of e.g. 3 and then a new Adjustment Layer for Levels should do the trick? Only a trying-to-be-helpful suggestion.

Well, I don't really see it there... the light and dark areas make it look good for my eyes... well, I can't really say if it's my eyesight that's playing tricks on me or not. Could be.

Ooh, I like the eyes. I think the tone on the skin between the eyes and nose (cheekbones?) is a tad too yellow though. Either that, or the tone under the eyes is too pink.
Smile, it makes people wonder what you're up to...
