I have asked at the DR forum what happens to spells added by other mods. As per Andyr's reply they won't appear in your spellbook, so if you install DR on top of BP we would lose all the BP spells but have access to new DR spells.

It would keep the clutter out of the spellbook though so maybe that is something to try on a new install. :D

ooh that's nice, always figured out what those gloves do , unfortunatly viconia isn't ranger, mmm maybe those gloves could be extended to priest class aswell, iirc those gloves could be usable only by rangers, could be wrong though ( i'm not a modder, but don't think would be too hard to do).

I had the same problem : I hate almost all the TDD spells, I didn't like their icons too, and I hate loosing my favourite spells because of TDD's ones. And I didn't like Horred's selection of spells for ranger / cleric's gloves.

Well, I like BP but not TDD :Poke:

So I have made a TDD-spells-killer ring, useable by all divine castor. It removes ALL TDD spells from spellbook, so you revert to standard BG2 spells. You only need to equip this ring, then stash it into your bag of holding : its effects are permanent until next level up.

If you DO like some TDD spells, you can select them before equipping the ring, the memorised spells won't go away. And naturally it won't affect enemy's spellcasters.

If you are interested by this ring, I shall send it to you. :)

i meant some spells are pretty usefull than others, some spells depend too much about some situations.

ps : sorry for the multiple posts (blame my browser)

Those gloves were originally made with the Sime NPC that Tortured Souls adds in mind.

You could also use the gloves as an example, to build yours off of. Basically, just change the spell resource file names (e.g, SPPR745 to SPPR703) . With DLTCEP, you can copy/paste/delete effects effortlessly in the spell editor (if you need to clear more/less spells for a certain level than the gloves currently allow for). Change the class restrictions to whatever suits your PC. And use the CLUA console to drop them at your PC's feet. ;)

Well, since Divine Remix didn't support all this additional spells anyway, may be it's worth something to make a BP component that will tackle this problem? Something simple, like choosing 3 dozens of priest spells and assigning each dozen to be inaccessible by, respectively, good, neutral & evil priests? This way it will allow more flexibility than Gloves of Priestly Ranger and will be far more natural part of gaming experience than manual erasing of spells via editor ^_^
