I've been sifting through a lot of info on this site and am looking for some clarity. Previously, I've installed BP-BGT and then other mods, etc. Is this BGT-Weidu then an independent way to install a series of Weidu mods without the need for BP? In other words, the Weidu mods will play nice with each other? Thanks for any help clearing this up.

BGT Weidu is a stand alone mod that combines all aspects of the Baldur's gate series into a single complete game. The Big Picture was the precursor to mod compatibility (allowing you to play many of the big mods as one), but since every one of those mods has ben weidued, such a modification became unnecessary. Now you can play said Weidu mods (The Darkest Day, Shadows over Soubar), without the required BP/BP-BGT, as a Weidu mod allows for greater compatibility (though no necessarily full compatibility). Well that is how I understand it, though there are many more qualified people is forum to give you a more accurate description.

Thank you, that's what it seemed to me too.
