 I've played several of the mods stand alone and now would like to over the holidays put a bunch together (i have read the forums) and get conflicting opinions on order. I have and would like to install. SoS 105 weidu. and fix 5, TDD 105 weidu and fix 6, TS 604 weidu and fix 2, Nej2.4 and patch 6.02, BGT weidu v99.4b, Dtosc 1.72 ntosc 1.32 sobh200 bgnpcv11, mapv4, greyclan1, sirines call, bdash weidu, ease for stacking and bags, G3tweaks. I would like also an opinion on Kelsey ( i really like him but he usually hoses the install with music files i think, and tsujathav, Which of these will hose my install and what order should I use them to install. thanks folks appreciate a reply

NeJ2 is not compatible or let's say partially incompatible with TDD and SoS. Also to play NeJ2 with BGT, you'll need a small compatibility patch which is still unavailable for download. Also please install TS v6.05 to play with NeJ2, TS v6.04 is for BP.

Currently, do not use NeJ2, and GreyClan1. You can run Kelsey and Tsujatha, but it is probably best not to install those until you get to the start of BG2. Hopefully, you have the right versions of everything else.

1) ToB+offic. patch
2) BDash-WeiDU (or G3 fixpack). - choose one only
3) SoS v1.05/TDD v1.05 - any order
4) CtB-TDD fix for TDD v1.05
5) CtB v1.6
6) TS-BP v6.04 (it doesn't like CtB to be installed after wink.gif )
7) Deactivate (uninstall) GUI-switcher - choose "Original SoA/ToB" item.
8) BGT-WeiDU, then DSotSC, then NTotSC, then SOBH, then BGNPCv11, then other mods in any order
9) Worldmap v4
10) Fixes for SoS, TDD, TS-BP
11) If you want you may activate preferable GUI at this point:
- run GUI-switcher once to activate automatically GUI of the last mod from SoS/TDD/SoS/BGT/CtB set;
- run it again to choose manually necessary GUI.

7) Run Setup-GUI.exe in your <BGII installation directory>, then when prompted for components, choose the number that corresponds to "Original SoA/ToB".

11) Run Setup-GUI.exe in your <BGII installation directory>, then choose the component of your liking. If you like the original menu screens, then you don't need to do this step at all.

Hope that is clear.

i was confused about that too, since no such file is avaiable for download.

when you install tdd or sos, i'm not sure which, the setup-gui.exe will appear in the directory.

THANK YOU I FOUND IT AFTER TDD AND SOS.

I hosed the whole thing when I installed SOS fix 5 and sadly that was the last component. it trashed the install. everything else went fine.

Hehe...and what am I to said?
I tried to install everything in that order...I wasn't able to instal BDash at first...heh, so installed TDD...was everything ok, then installed BDash (earlier there were "files missing in chittin.key" LoL), then SoS . This time games crashes when starting SoA...huh, uninstalled SoS, installed CtB-TDD fix, installed CtB...chores are soooo boring :] installed FF...now , somthing nice :] Installed TS...game runs fine...installed tactics, imp. battles, ascension, redemption, UB, valen, solaufein, ceestials, worldmap etc. The dialogs were ok, but mixed PL/ENG-I shouldn't install dialog fix from BD ;] When I finally started the SoA group of duergars spawned just after Immy opened the cage...it was big surprize :] Bah...what a realistic eascape from those dungeons...
What is my point-as for me everything from BP parts works fine except SoS...
BTW-after installation first BP-related mod my PL nationa signs were changed...so I set font to Arial...signs are now ok, but i.e. HP over head and some other information at game screen looks weird...just like the Arial white font+little shifted arial green font. Is there any way to fix it? It is not so annoying, but it would be nice if it would work normally.

There have been reports of WeiDU.log corruption over at http://www.shsforums...pic=17935&st=20 starting from the very bottom post of that page.

After installing win2000 instead winme weidu.log corruption solved for me. Guessing it is a problem handling dos prompt.

7) Run Setup-GUI.exe in your <BGII installation directory>, then when prompted for components, choose the number that corresponds to "Original SoA/ToB".

I had a problem with this step. The only three options were CTB, SOS, and TDD. There was no option for SOA/TOB. How do you get that option? Thanks in advance.

Run Setup-GUI and choose the last entry.
Run it again and choose 'Uninstall'.
That is the fastest way for now...
