I encountered this problem when trying to install DSotSC with BGT-WeiDU v0.99b4 installed but that wasn't possible since the areas AR3499 was missing.

I found that BGT-WeiDU v0.99b4 doesn't include some areas that BGT-WeiDU v0.99b3 does; the BGT/Base/ARE folder doesn't have the following areas: AR3497, AR3498, AR3499, AR4199, AR9798, AR0015

In both BGT-WeiDU versions I found a script file for area AR0015 in BGT/Base/BAF, and AR0015.ARE in BGT/Modify/ARE. So I'm going to include all "missing" areas in the BGT-WeiDU v0.99b4 installation, except AR0015, and see if that works.

Any informed opinions on if this would be correct, or if not how it should be done?

I have to say that either you have a bad install or mine did something extra special. I have the AR3499 - AR3497 areas in my game and I am also using version beta 4. I am testing DS, NT, BG1NPC right now to make sure everything works and these areas are here.

What mirror did you use to download the BGT-WeiDU archive? I'll check that one out.

I think I used The Wyrm's Lair - The Dragon's Hoard when downloading it originally. I downloaded it again (http://dragonshoard....94b-Install.rar) and it's the same file as I had (I compared the two files and they are identical).

Edit: Well ignore my comments, it appears as if I can't read that well I didn't have v0.99b4, I had v0.94b.

Don't get me wrong...there was a time when 99b4 were not yet released...and I downloaded the same file (94b)...and I just had the same problems :]

DHDC(Black Wyrm Dragon's Hoard) is always up-to-date, but it's up to you which mirror you use. Even if DHDC were outdated, it still would be updated sooner than the download from IEGMC would finish. I just tried to download something from Intermedia and its quite slow for me... if it's as slow for everyone as to me (I've a 2 megabit DSL at the moment so the problem is not on my part), well, it takes quite a lot of time to download a mod from it. The European server tiefighter.org doesn't work for me usually, not sure if it's the fault of the connection between this region and UK, or something else.

tiefighter is only for ISP's in the UK IIRC

I have no problems with that...last time downloaded TDD, SoS, CtB and TS in about 1 hour all 4. Just use the download accelerator, as this mirror has limit per connection or something like that. Other thing-I'm planning to set up some minor mirror at my computer-nothing very big but I think usefull...just all I ask is test the download speed: promilusftp.ath.cx

I just had a look at DHDC here and lo! I find BETA 0.94 and 0.99 BETA 3 of BGT-WeiDU still up there, with the readme still reflecting BETA 0.94. Any chance you could update?

TDD and SOS new weidu versions are also not on there. TS for BP is also not there. Indira is also old.

not bitching just wishing for an update since the DH is very fast.
