Not yet, it's supposed to arrive tomorrow according to the store. Playing it will be a nice reward for me, as I passed my Swedish test... why do we have to have two official languages here anyway... heh.Started yet ?
Yep, that's how I was planning it... no cheatin'! First time for everything... I bet I'm going to like it a lot.A smaaal, non-spoilerish nag, if I may: whatever happens, do not get any tutorials (it is addictive) and don't interrupt your first run (first game->first finale).

So you're tri-lingual? That puts 98% of the rest of us to complete shame.I passed my Swedish test
I enyoyed it immensely. The only thing that marginally bugged me (no spoiler!) is that the screen resolution is fixed at 640x480. Well, it is a very early version of the IE after all....First time for everything... I bet I'm going to like it a lot.

And besides, I think you people would trade with me if you could forget you ever played the game...

Heh, this surely took some time... I got a used copy today for a bit over 11 euros. I've installed all the mods, fixes and patches, and now I'm ready to start Planescape: Torment for the first time. I think it's ridiculous I haven't played it before since I've played all other Black Isle games... well, it was hard to get a copy.
And besides, I think you people would trade with me if you could forget you ever played the game...
I wouldn't bother with mods on the first run through. There really aren't any good ones available and the game is great as is.

The engine is insanely hard to work with, hence the lack of mods.
Anyway, have fun playing the greatest game that ever excisted!

Yeah, I guess they'd all fall in the category of 'returning lost content and fixing existing content'. I didn't really like any of those new items, so I just put back what was supposed to be there IMO. Although I do like the small tweak mod Cities Explored (I've always hated Fog of War).Heh, this surely took some time... I got a used copy today for a bit over 11 euros. Thanks, I probably will.

Just started with Planescape as well. Found a copy somewhere on the other side of the world somehow. I'm now trying to determine the best stats at character generation.
Max wisdom. Nothing else matters.

Charisma is neat too, but can be raised later on (you get a stat-point extra each level) Plus either dex or strength if you want to be a thief or fighter respectively.

Wisdom and Charisma, and to some extent intelligence, will greatly enhance what you get out of the game.
I played through as fighter with 10 Wisdom, Charisma and Intelligence, and found it to be a fantastic game. Then I played as a mage focusing on the aforementioned stats, and suddenly I found out I never knew how fantastic the game had been.
Wisdom is easily the most important one though.

All of them are important, but the mental scores (int, wis, cha) are significantly more useful for most characters. You should have points enough for everything by the middle of the game however.
If you want to unlock ALL content, you need mental scores of at least 24, 24 and 24.
So the points will be tight

What exactly do you need a 24 charisma for? I think was able to convince TTO to merge with me with a 19.
Anyway, last time I finished the game my character had four 25s, a 19, and a 10.
