If not, does it use the BG1 or the BG2 names?

Does BGT change the ingame portrait names at all?
If not, does it use the BG1 or the BG2 names?

No, BGT does not change ingame portrait names. They retain the original BG1 portraits, but the installation doesn't import the portraits into BG2, so BG2 must have the BG1 portraits in their original namings. Therefore, if you are confused by that sentence, I think it is safe to say that BGT uses the BG1 portrait filenames.Does BGT change the ingame portrait names at all?
