Hi all, I just returned from hell via the wishes fromt he Demon Claw, but when I leave the Temple of Talos I am not given the option for the third wish (and Jarlaxle is not in the Deeper Mir Forest).  Any suggestions?  I had to CLUA to the Mir Forest the first time and had to CLUA Baurian in both times.  Thanks in advance!

the third wish is a joke, u can't really choose, u will be polymorphed in drow once u'll reach again the Mir Forest.

For Jarlaxe, i suggest to wait the night, normally he spawn right south of the big stones circle, walk a little if not here. Should work, otherwise.....no clue except the use of the console.

Note : last time i ran through i used all the wishes in the temple, right after to be returned from Hell., maybe u don't have enough wisdom ? (try with a potion of insight, i doubt it will change something, but well try it).

Anyway for the third wish, if u choose the second option the claw will not help u, and u will be forced to use the other one. (polymorphed in drow)

Does anyone have a list of CLUA codes or know where I can find one for TDD?  I am still having issues finding Jarlaxle in the Mir Forest.  I reinstalled TDD and the patch and then my other mods.  I have tried sleeping a coupole of times, but usually my game crashes to the desktop if I do it.  Primarily, I want to finish the quest with Jarlaxle and Entreri.  Thanks in advance!

save your game first then try to:CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("jarlaxe1")

i am not sure which creature file you need but there are 3 of them: jarlaxe1, jarlaxe2 and jarlaxel

if the first one dont work reload and try the second and so on....

Thanks so very much Ronin!  I was able to talk to Jarlaxle this time and did a bit of his quests (2 of 3 dragons are done) last night.

Hello all, 

 

I am having a similar issue to the above person, except Jarlaxle is actually present in the area as described in the walkthrough, except I believe there might be a bug because he responds to me strangely. Namely: he talks to me and says:

 

Choose a weapon of focus:

 

With a long list for me to choose from, so i choose a weapon at random, and then goes on to say that choosing this weapon means I can't focus on any other weapon etc. and so I say yes. And then when I try to talk to him, nothing happens. I also tried clua consoling jarlaxe1 and same thing happens, jarlaxe2 ends up saying I don't have the required item yet, while jaraxel doesn't exist in my directory.

 

I am sure I have bugged it up somewhere, but any tips or suggestions (certain trigger or creature spawn?) to continue TDD would be much appreciated.

This has appeared for some other user before due to the impact of another mod on TDDz

I am not sure what the solution was - the author of the mod that causes the problem claims to have solved it meanwhile (not that this helps you at this moment.)

It may not be satisfactory, but this is the last scene of this TDD episode anyway, you more or less finished it, there is just a final battle and some loot - so maybe you just let it end with that.

Otherwise you may delete the DS_xxxx spells causing it from the game but you may create yourself another problem with that, hardly foreseeable...
