I have posted regularly at a site largely dedicated to RPGs for the past number of years, and I recall one debate that occurred in the BG2 forum there....that concerning an Edwin romance.
I have to confess, I was sceptical at the time. I had a lot of trouble imagining how Edwin could have the depth and complexity for something like a romance.
But.. I have to say, you've convinced me. Your work in ... *cough*... fleshing out Edwin's character is truly amazing. He is at once entertaining and believable, and I love the way you employed his gender transformation as a vehicle through which to bring out the deeper character lurking within.
Just an awesome, awesome job!
I can't wait to see the flirt pack!

I just decided to register because I wanted to say how much I've been enjoying the Edwin romance.

Thank you kindly, Dragon Wench! It is of course always great to hear somebody enjoyed the romance, and perhaps even more so if you were sceptical to start with.

The only thing I would change is if in TOB Eddie would give Charname an engagement ring. Maybe it could keep the pc from feeling fear or giving her a fireball once a day in the case of emergencies.
Sorry, my mind is wandering!

Minarvia, dear, why do you think so?
Well, well... I really don't want to debate with somebody about my love. My Edwin. NOT "my favourite" NPC. NOT NPC, no - real man, my sweet, my wonderful lover.

I'm like halfway through the ER, and I couldn't be happier with it. At first I thought it would be ridiculous - how could a character like Edwin possibly have a romance? But you've managed to pull it off while keeping Edwin true to the character while elaborating on him enough to make him human and believable. The romance is funny without being too silly, romantic without being mushy, and poignant without being pretentious. Thank you so much for creating this unique and enjoyable mod!

Since this seem to be the flattery thread, I'll add my opinion.
