How do you script a character ingame to wonder around as the villagers do?

As usual, IESDP is your friend.

The script action is called RandomWalk(). :)

If you want a creature to follow a specific path, then check here. Go to Actors - Scripting Movements. Although the tutorial is for working with DLTCEP, I've taken apart the script for one of the barmaids in the Copper Coronet and explained exactly what's happening.
