1: The quest entitled "Spiders, boots, and wine" does not disappear from the "Quests" journal display when completed. The correct entries still appear in "Done Quests," however.
2: I was ambushed travelling from Nashkel to the area west of Nashkel. The ambushing party was one ogre, which spawned in the far upper left of the map. The effect was me hearing "You have been waylayed by enemies and must defend yourself," but then having to look around for the ogre that waylayed me.
3: Skeletons drop pink skulls. Hmmm...
4: This is more of a "tweak," but why don't we have Thalantyr actually recognize you when you speak with him a second time? It's odd having to explain that you want to buy and sell things for the 50th time you speak with him.
5: After delivering Melicamp to Thalantyr and bringing him a skull, Thalantyr will attempt to transform Melicamp back into a human. If he succeeds, you must speak to Thalantyr or Melicamp in order to initiate a conversation between them. However, if you speak with Melicamp at this point instead of Thalantyr, Melicamp will use the wrong dialogue.
6: Completing the quest "A talking chicken" does not remove the "Quests" entry for talking to Kissiq. Kissiq gives you a journal entry also called "A talking chicken." Kissiq is found in the same area as Melicamp and Bassilus.

If you exit to the FAI exterior, you will notice the journal entries magically disappear. They are actually removed by area script. Fixed, so they check on AR6803 instead of AR6800.1: The quest entitled "Spiders, boots, and wine" does not disappear from the "Quests" journal display when completed. The correct entries still appear in "Done Quests," however.
Hmm...the encounter areas can be weird, but is the upper left the only way to exit the area?2: I was ambushed travelling from Nashkel to the area west of Nashkel. The ambushing party was one ogre, which spawned in the far upper left of the map. The effect was me hearing "You have been waylayed by enemies and must defend yourself," but then having to look around for the ogre that waylayed me.
I thought they always dropped pink skulls.3: Skeletons drop pink skulls. Hmmm...
Maybe in a tweak perhaps, because it would be too hefty to treat the dialogue as such at the moment.4: This is more of a "tweak," but why don't we have Thalantyr actually recognize you when you speak with him a second time? It's odd having to explain that you want to buy and sell things for the 50th time you speak with him.
Fixed, there was some redundant classic BGT patching that was screwing things up.5: After delivering Melicamp to Thalantyr and bringing him a skull, Thalantyr will attempt to transform Melicamp back into a human. If he succeeds, you must speak to Thalantyr or Melicamp in order to initiate a conversation between them. However, if you speak with Melicamp at this point instead of Thalantyr, Melicamp will use the wrong dialogue.
Fixed. Kissiq now disappears after Thalantyr tries to transform Melicamp.6: Completing the quest "A talking chicken" does not remove the "Quests" entry for talking to Kissiq. Kissiq gives you a journal entry also called "A talking chicken." Kissiq is found in the same area as Melicamp and Bassilus.

I've had two or three random CTD's in Beregost. None are consistent, though. It doesn't happen often enough to be a nuisance. One occured when entering Feldepost's Inn to kill Tranzig. One occured while Beregost was loading.

The ambient sound is Tazok's tent is that of birds chirping.

I consistently get hit point rolls of around 2-4 hit points per level. This is on everyone, even the 1D10 hit point per level fighters. Either I'm really unlucky or something's amiss... *Edit: I just got a 6HP roll with Dynahier. Therefore, I am just horribly unlucky.
On a side note, my full plate shattered right after I got it! D'oh! I think the shattering rate might be a big too high. Maybe I'm simply unlucky, however. *Edit: We've established that I am simply unlucky. Please ignore.

Interesting. The ambient entry is of flies only between dawn and dusk (AMB_E29A.WAV). Do you mean directly inside Tazok's tent (AR8701) or standing outside it (AR8700)?The ambient sound is Tazok's tent is that of birds chirping.
Maybe, but BGT-WeiDU doesn't touch spells so I can't really do much to that. The spell "Aid" has "Barkskin's" description. This is probably due to the Divine Remix. Perhaps it was fixed in their latest release?
Are you using Ding0's summon cap? If so you can summon infinite FEs if you want. Anywayk, BGT-WeiDU doesn't touch spells or items so can't really help you there. Where is the Staff of Fire anyway?don't know if this is normal, but my projected images can summon an infinite amount of followers... i summoned 60 fire elementals with the staff of fire yesterday!?!
Is this in the spell Simulacrum or something? I don't recall ever having illusionary clones in BG1+TotSC.The items you have equipped on your character are duplicated onto your illusionary clone. This presents problems for items with charges as it effectively doubles your uses of them. Yes, it's cheesy.

I see. Does BG2 Refinements do anything about Simulacrum? Certainly, BGT-WeiDU can't do much about the two.He was speaking about BG2 part of the game...both Simulacrum spell and staff of fire are in BG2

I believe none of those bugs is fault of BGT...better watch the proper mod forum to see compatibility list.

Directly inside. It's the tent area that contains the letters required to progress to the next chapter. I'll go back to check it again soon. I don't really want to fight Ardenor Crush and Taugosz Khosann and the crazy bandit archers, but I will brave what I must on the quest for bugfixes!
Maybe, but BGT-WeiDU doesn't touch spells so I can't really do much to that.
That's what I figured. I'm just posting all of the stuff I find and letting you sort out what is within your domain.
Is this in the spell Simulacrum or something? I don't recall ever having illusionary clones in BG1+TotSC.
Yes, his question was concerning SoA. Simulacrum allows you to use copies of your charged items on the illusionary clone it creates. This is not a BGT-WeiDU issue and is present even without the summoning cap removal IIRC.
Also, Branwen's armor shattered right after I quicksaved even though there was no combat going on. Does the game re-run the shattering script after saves, or is this a mod-introduced issue?
When I traveled to the first area of the Cloakwood, it had me enter the area from the top of the map. When I immediately exited the area from the top of the map, the next Cloakwood area became accessible. Perhaps it should be required to leave this area on the left side to gain access to the next Cloakwood region as it is easy to simply enter the area and leave again immediately.
I've progressed to chapter 5 by reading the letters in Tazok's stash and then gone to the Cloakwood, but I still have no less than 8 journal entries with the title "Bandits!" These entries deal with everything from Tranzig to Tazok's Cloakwood trip to the recruiting practices of the Black Talon.

Sorry for the extra late reply, have been too busy with RL and have been skimming forums to see what has been going on lately. Also, Branwen's armor shattered right after I quicksaved even though there was no combat going on. Branwen's armour shatter maybe an engine thing, although I am not good enough to work that kind of thing out. Maybe the string of bad luck has continued...?
The Cloakwood error is a known issue. I do not know what is wrong with it at the moment and is listed as known bug in BETA 3.
Bandits! journal entries are not removed until you go to Candlekeep (or perhaps after escaping it, I can't exactly remember). This is because there are some journal entries relating to bandits that occurs inside Baldur's Gate that seem to fit under the heading. Crude, I know, but better than no headings.
I'll have a look at this.It seems that if you enter the Nashkel Carnival before going to Nashkel, the movie plays and you then get the chapter text screen ("With your hurried flight from Candlekeep barely behind you..."). However, there is no text or sound associated with this screen. The chapter text works fine if I go to Nashkel first.

The thing is, that in original BG1 you could enter either Nashkel or Nashkel Carnival in order to get end of chapter 1 (and get movie and chapter text screen, although there it worked well). Perhaps it was forgotten or something in converting those areas. I believe this might be helpful...
(Sorry if everyone knows this already )
