This pertains to the BP+BGT+NEJ mod, and I'm sorry to make yet another one of these, I went through about the first 17 pages of the forum looking for any help on my issue to find none, and I figured It'd probably be easier if I posted a new thread instead of posting in an existing one, sorry if I broke any unspoken rules.
Anyway-
I followed the step by step guide posted by Hijdskialf (sorry if I got the name wrong), and everything was working absolutely fine [used the file-checker everything was green]... installation and all that finished, everything working... now, I returned the baldur's gate 1 installation to it's original place and renamed it to it's original name, but before that I booted up BoT to see if it works (the guide also said to run it once at least) it was already configured pre-install but I double-checked it and started the game.
When I went to begin a new BG1 game through it, where it SHOULD have taken me to character creation - the game crashed. Same thing happend if I tried to start BG2... the 'load' screen' gets about 50% done (sometimes less) and then I hear the window's crash sound, and the game is "not responding".
Any assistance would be MUCH appreciated.

Well.... Sorry to hear you had trouble. Did you install it on custom and full clean installs?? How many times have you tried to install this?? 3 or 4? Try to install it again? May be post a copy of your WeiDU log file? To help we need to know your how you installed it by step by step.
Here have a and try again.

Did you install BP-BGT-NeJ in the default directory or did you take a copy of the default install directory and installed it there? If it's the latter check that your baldur.ini has the right path in it, a small typo in the directory names here can give you lots of trouble.

This was my 3rd re-install over-all, 2nd of BGT.
I had an install of baldurs gate 1 and it's expansion, both custom with everything checked off (no mods had been added to it) but I had played it a bit - I figured that woudlnt' cause any problems.
My bg2 and ToB installs were 100% brand new with the official patch and nothing else, both on the same HDD. As BP-BGT-NeJ I installed it directly into the default directory...
I went ahead and uninstalled/cleaned everything out, thought I'd try again in a week or so when I had a couple of hours to kill to dedicate directly to this mod, for the time being I took the easy way out and just went with Big Picture over BG2, that should suffice fora bit.
Thanks for the replies though guys.

Make sure you uninstalled all the weidu applications properly. If you just deleted files, make sure you delete the old Override folder, the weidu.log file, and clean out all the mod "backup" folders before reinstalling again. (Otherwise old will corrupt new.)

Done and done, uninstalled all I could by running the WeiDU installers again and going with uninstall, and then cleaned out the rest via deleting the whole folder in it's entirety and just going with a completely clean install.
