don't get me wrong, but in that case i somewhat disagree, in kelsey case you install the pictures in the game, but you didn't get to see them before installing!!! so if you get an option in weidu like that:
Install XVIII alternate picture [Y/N]---(conclusion)-> you get "Wuh? i can't see them, how i'm suposed to decide???"
so maybe gettin those in the readme in html would help you, (het, before installing mods, the people read the readme, right?)

Freedom cannot be equated with goodness, virtue, or perfection. Freedom has its own unique self-contained nature; freedom is freedom ? not universal goodness. Any confusion or deliberate equalization of freedom with goodness and excellence is in itself negation of freedom, and acceptance of the path of restraint and enforcement.

It's a *very* nice pic! Very Edwina-like. I am a bit partial to the one we've already got though, since I think that one also fits her perfectly. Pity we can't use both...
Now you've really piqued my curiosity Laufey, can I see that portrait? Love your "Cards Reshuffled" fic by the way. Do you actually *like* Xzar or you just really hate Nalia?

I'm afraid the pic will have to stay secret for now. I don't want to disappoint you, but I also don't want to spoil you. And thanks, I'm very happy to hear you like my story! Actually, both Xzar and Nalia will be very happy...I've grown fond of them both.Laufey Posted on Apr 30 2003, 01:03 PM

Eh, what's so spoiler-ish about showing the avatar pic?I'm afraid the pic will have to stay secret for now. I don't want to disappoint you, but I also don't want to spoil you.

*grin* There's no rare feature or anything, it just happens to be a pic that I think suits Edwina very well, and I'd like for it to be a little (hopefully nice) surprise. If they told us, it would spoil it.

I'll have to ask Dorotea about that. If it isn't though, then you can always use Shadowkeeper to edit in the portrait of your preference. With the different portraits, would it be possible to set the mod up with a GUI installer ?? That would make it possible to present the portrait options, and say "Select a Portrait for this Character", rather than "do you want this portrait that we haven't shown you yet? Y/N"

This is the question to Wes Weimer - not to me. As of today I don't think WEIDU has this capability. What you can do is to open the folder that was put into your main SoA dir and look at the images there. Since bmp files can be easily opened with MS paint is it as simple as it can be. What I will do is include section into Readme file explaining where to look for these.
Cheers!
