Here's a perdenant question....
If they make another three part series after the next Kotor assuming they wrap up the trilogy with the third, how far ahead do you think the storyline should skip, 1000 years, 100 years, 20 years....what do you guys think??? my personal opinion is it will depend on what happens in the third but i don't have an exact number i just think it should skip ahead far enough so that they can write a new star wars storyline from scrap, and if they do get Bioware to write it, then if they have to like before have Obsidian pick up the pieces and hopefully follow up decently this time....go ahead and post your opinion on the matter....
Oh, this is a no-brainer!
After completing the trilogy, LucasArts will make three prequels to the trilogy set a few years
before KotOR I
The first prequel will be completely confusing to those who have not played the Trilogy since LucasArts won't bother to introduce the characters. It will feature a motley band of Jedi fleeing for one reason or another to the outer region of the galaxy when they landed on the remote planet of Deralia where they encountered a cute little kid called Revan who was very strong in the Force.
When the band met Revan he had just finished building HK-47, an assassination droid disguised as a translation protocol droid, made to enforce his rule over the neighborhood kids. Rather than seeing this as a sign of the Dark Side, the Jedi decided to take Revan in for formal Jedi training.
Afterwards, there would be a lot of distractions mainly a super long swoop race that will make many gamers pull their hair out in frustration. Finally they'll throw in Barber Jinx the hairless Wookie, who despite failing miserably as a comic relief figure will survive all three prequels.
The final boss will be some guy (maybe
Exar Kun) with a double-lightsaber who's mainly there for coolness factor. B)
The second prequel will be called "Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic: Attack of the Mandalorians" with no plot but lots of action, with the players forced to cut through wave after wave of similarly looking armored troopers.
The third prequel will feature Malak and Revan's fall to the Dark Side during the first search for the Star Forge and will be highlighted by Malak having his jaw and several limbs hacked off in the end of the game.
As for which company LucasArts would choose for this endeavor: Bioware definitely has a better track record, but any company that would create a game like Neverwinter Nights should be greatly feared and ostracized.
Guess we'll have to see how Dragon Age comes out.
