On level 3 of the Crypt Tower there is a Skeleton Chieftain that you can talk to. Is there anything else that's supposed to happen with him?

Instead of SoE, you meant SoU, right? In this case, no, that Skeleton warrior is merely a reference to the story of the Witch's Wake expansion pack.

I realized it as soon as I posted, but couldn't figure out if there was a way to change the topic title.
Anyway, I was just curious since he mentions a puzzle. I guess that's the reference to Witch's Wake?
