Equipment shattering

I was thinking piercing (which is mostly arrows and darts) shouldn't cause shattering, whereas anything else should, maybe a slightly higher % for crushing damage, IIRC most used arrows and swords not a lot of maces are used.
Minnesota, the state where absolutly nothing is allowed.

Piercing damage tye is also used with Spears, short swords, throwing axes, throwing knives, darts etc....It would become really unfair that those weapons wouldn't cause shatter...
However there is possible "missile" type (though it has also piercing dmg) which could be applied :P

In the group combat training house. There's a unbreakable chainmail and plate with the illusion party. But you have to export the character to get it. They are armors with a l in the beginig of the file name (lCHAN01).

Well, won't happen anymore. Exploit fixed. :D

With regards to the item shattering issue, BETA 4 will simply reduce the shattering chance to 0.5%, meaning that weapons/armour/shields will still all shatter. Shouldn't hurt too much, with a 1/200 chance of shattering per hit. In later versions, when I do get the tweak-fix sorting happening, which is after I do a complete developers' documentation, armour and shield shattering WILL move to the tweaks component. I think this is in the best interest of CHOICE, and really doesn't hurt people who want to use it anyway (with the press of extra Y and Enter keys on the keyboard). Current planning is to include all tweaks in the single component, but this can of course be discussed when I get to that stage.
