I just read an article from a reliable website that KOTOR 3 will be delayed because of "restructuring" in the Lucasarts Firm.

31 employees will be fired and because of that, KOTOR 3 developement will be temporary stopped.

The Dutch Article can be found here

This article was written almost a year ago, on august 16th 2004 to be precise. Almost 5 months before Kotor 2 was even released. I think they have already resumed development for a long time.

whew!!! i think i remember that restructuring...hopefully, as with kotor 1 and 2, they'll outsource the actuall development, so anything happening at lucasarts will not impact game release...

Yep, I'm betting 2007-ish. Honestly, if it were released in 2006 I would yell at them for not doing their jobs correctly. I'd much rather wait on a great product then have a good (or worse) product soon.

I second that......like i said before i'd rather wait for a complete and amazing KOTOR 1 game then a unfinished and quite frankly a sub-par KOTOR 2 game.....but you can't really blame either Lucas or Obsidian as Lucas set the date and Obsidian said they could deliver the game on the date.....they should of asked Lucas for a few more months to finish off the game.....so let's just hope for the game's sake both parties take their time and deliver.....
