Very nice! I like the plot twist... even though the end was indeed a shock! The characterization was good too, and just the sense of... justice, redemption... I don't know how to say it. Very good.
Through lightning, travel shadow,
Through hell and all above,
Surviving sword and arrow,
Bound stronger by the love

And in the end a witness,
To where the death has lain,
Silent through the sorrow,
Where innocents lie slain
