assuming identities

How about a special power, granted through a kit, race, item, spell, whatever, where you could approach a creature and take over it's identity, after a winning a battle of will power, discarding your old form. You'd receive the appearence, items and physical stats of the new host, but you'd retain wisdom, intelligence, experience and class. Possibly you could also move about as just a spirit, either because you chose to or because you attempted to ussurp a body the occupant of which proved to strong for you to remove.

Not even close to being worth it IMO. Other opinions may differ, but I seriously doubt anyone will code it up.

This thought just arose in my mind, it's just an idea, I don't know whether it has been tried and whether it's actually possible.

This sounds a decent amount like the "PnP Shifter" class in the PRC for Neverwinter Nights. Maybe you should check out the PRC (http://nwnprc.netgam...o.uk/index.html) if you're into NWN.

If you really want to make something that nobody else has done, try what a Rust Monster does.

Also sounds alot like Magic Jar... which a ghost might use on you. Already got that done nicely... but by an enemy. Very few new ideas out there.

In other words, "please figure out this work-around that's a lot of work so I don't have to do it". Typical of us modders, since domination spells don't work over the internet too well and it's getting harder than ever to find a decent supply of "mod slaves".
