Hi, there

The next mod I'm gonna try out is gonna be this one, here

some questions:

1) Installing.

Currently installed in the installation order:
SoA
ToB
Official Patch
Imoen's Romance.

I have read that Tashia should be installed before Imoen, so I would presume I should uninstall Immy and go like this:
SoA
ToB
Official Patch
Baldurdash FixPack (how essential is it?)
Tashia

Can I hope this will be bug free?

2) Can the romance progress be controlled the same way as official BG2 romances - using the same variables? I know that Arnel's Nalia had some weird LoveTalk system, you could not control it or adjust it with CLUA or ShadowKeeper.

3) How are the romance conflicts solved - similarly like those catfights between A, J and V - I mean a dialogue when you have to pick one of them? Or I should not get involved with anyone else in the first place?
Again I ask, because Nalia's romance didn't really address this - I was hitting on Jaheira after marrying Nalia, phew

Well, I installed Tashia after Imoen (and Kelsey), and it worked.
I guess nobody would recommend you to do the same anyway
And I never use baldurdash fixpack.... but that's just me.

Nope
There is no such thing as a "totally-bug-free-foolproof-BG2-installation".
Cross your fingers and try to squish the bugs as they come
Feel free to come here and ask for help if you run into trouble ;-)

Yes, most of the variables have pretty much the same format. TashiaRomance, TashiaRomanceActive, LOVETALK etc.

Well, if you want a walkthrough for the romance maybe you'd be better off asking the author... I have no idea of all the possible branches!

A bit of a clarification on the question #3 :

I was not asking for a walkthrough, god forbid, no... lemme give an example - suppose Jaheira romance is active as I pick up Tashia in trademeet - eventually I will have to choose between them, yes, no?

Well, since you've chosen to make your question simpler, I'll give you the simpler version of my answer: "I don't know, I never tried"

All I can tell you is that if you're romancing Imoen, Tashia won't romance you at all, and if you romance Tashia, Imoen will treat you "as a brother". But no catfight occurs between the two of them.

I've read of some kind of patch specific for the Tashia mod which would allow the player to romance her simultaneously with the other bioware wenches, so I guess that if you don't install this patch (you can find it at the mod's site), you wouldn't be allowed to have concurrent romances.

its even simpler than that...i actually talked to arian, when the mod first came out, and to paraphrase his words...

Tashia is a very civil and nice girl, who simply will not stand in the way of the pc, or have any catfights or spats with other lovers...so if aerieromanceactive is set to 2, committed, it will make tashiaromanceactive 3, automatically...

so if you have tashia, and viccy or jahiera or aerie, its up to YOU to break off the romance before it goes too far in the game if you wish to romance tashia....

hmmm...must be the imoen romance controlling the globals...

serje, and jurt, if you install tashia after imoen, you will miss out on several lines of dialog, since the imoen mod will recognize if tashia is installed and some new tashia specific dialog is added during the install process....

until imoen came along, tashia was absolutely my favorite romance mod, but after immie, tashia looks bad in comparison...

ok, understood... I think I also understand why I messed up Nalia's romance - my protagonist became committed to Jaheira and that set NaliaRomance Active to 3, duh

well, yeah Immy's romance is great, but there are two things that Tashia has over her - you have to wait a lot until you get Immy and she does not have ToB part...

Well, TashiaRomanceActive was 3 from the beginning in the game I was romancing Immy (I picked up Tashia in chapter 6, odd thing I know... we'll see what happens in the next game).
My guess is that's Lord Mirabbo work, because there are no versions of Tashia released... "post-Imoen", to say so...

Hmm, yes quite nice, but the lovetalks are way way too short on some occasions

she also takes a lot of time to come around, even more than Jaheira who has much more to grieve about...

I just finished playing with the Tashia mod and thought it was better than all the others but I'm not sure I got all the love talks,my last one was #1026237 just before the final chapter in T.O.B. We never even slept together..wish there was a walkthrough of all the places you have to be to make the love talk happen..If any one knows of this please let me know,thanks
