And so the plot thickens...

I do like your descriptions of things, Little Dragon. :) . Along with the wonderful humour that you can inject into every situation, not to mention your ingenious ideas. This chapter seems to have moved the plot along again quite nicely. :) . Eagerly looking forward to the next chapter! ^_^

Glad you like the humour, I just can't write a totally dark fic, it never seems to work that way in RL.

Next chapter (and the Candlekeep Bhaalspawn) coming up ... later. Not too much later I hope.

Oh, interesting new action :)
Just repeating my appreciation of that story :D

Thanks for reading and commenting.

Good new action, Little Dragon. I like how Shann and Yeslick have found themselves in Tiswash's group. I'm very interested to see where you'll take this next. :)

Through lightning, travel shadow,
Through hell and all above,
Surviving sword and arrow,
Bound stronger by the love

***

And in the end a witness,
To where the death has lain,
Silent through the sorrow,
Where innocents lie slain

Yeah! New chapter! Oh I love this story :woot: Ha-hem. So just mean to say that I am eager to find out more about Shann's adventures (although she's quite right about Edwin - poor Tiswash will be terribly disappointed if he ever finds out how Edwin truly is...!)

Thanks for reading. Sorry for the late reply, January's been busier than I expected ... really thought part 2 would be ready by now ...

Edwin might not be evil, and there might not be a group of Red Wizards out there waiting to ambush the party ... :whistling:

Woohoo! New chapter again! :D This was a fine continuation of the last chapter, with more interesting banter between Shann and Tiswash & cie. I like how you make him see Shann's "darkness", but still be tolerant of her - or of Edwin, for that matter. And finally, I officially complain. Why wait so long between chapters? :crying:

It might be fun to make fun of the rigid, 'evil must die' type of Paladins, but when you actually think about what Paladins are supposed to be - they should be tolerant of others. In my view a Paladin's main task should be protecting the weak, not punishing the guilty for past sins.

And finally, I officially complain. Why wait so long between chapters? :crying:

Um, I like torturing my readers?

It's just been a frustrating couple of months, it seems like whenever I find the time to write I can't make the words look right. It's very annoying, since I have no trouble working out the plot.

I must agree with you there, Little Dragon. :). It is sooo fun poking fun at them, though. :P. But yes, the reason Paladins are here are to protect the weak and do good in general, and there's a point where you cross from doing good into being an uptight and righteous... :P

*pat, pat* . It's every writer's bane... to know it sounds good in your head, but in the translation to paper have something inexplicably change. Luckily, though, it usually gets better. :). Hang in there, Little Dragon. This is a very well written story that quite a lot of us are hanging on to. :).

Yep, good plot/bad words is definitively a most efficient writer's bane... but don't you dare give up this most excellent story.

As for paladins - well, I agree with that, but still. Alright, I can imagine a paladin of Ilmater being nice and tolerant and all, but somehow, I hardly imagine a paladin of Helm being tolerant of a traitor or a coward, as the nature of such a person would be against every teaching of his god. I guess there's a difference between different gods, or just in my imagination :P

That's why so many people think Anomen should be a Paladin, he fits the Lawful Awful mode perfectly

Thanks for reading.

I won't give up, I'm much too stubborn.

In Faerun, at least, the gods do seem different, something that should be reflected by the various Paladin orders. Paladins of Ilmater are canon, something that surprised me when I was searching for a diety for Tiswash to follow.
