Well like I edited in earlier, Allot of energy, curiosity, and zest for life could drive her. If she has ties to the community, this could be a point of interaction and quests latter on.  Instead of being a living bleeding heart. The quintessential helpless/needy emotional sexy women. (eyck  <_< )

What's so terrible about personal tragedy? *You* try having your limbs cut off and act all cool and collected and shrugging it off. Yes, I'm fully aware this isn't a nice post. Ban me for it, I care not. I'm *sick* of listening to these kind of heartless comments and not being allowed to speak my mind about it.

Hum... you are allowed to think what you want, you're maybe right, but I'd like this topic speaks about MY mod, and not having arguments...

But I'd like to know what do you think about this project, please ? :)

Moongaze, you had your limbs cut off? I have no idea what your talking about other then you clearly misunderstood me.

In that case, I could create a little map in forest with only the house of Flora's parents ?

Or thats where the druid/ess could live with flora's house being in town. The druid/ess should live remotely if he/she is to be remote and suspected when the wvyrm attacks.

@shinook
Inquire for his temple? What do you mean by inquiring, investigating some issue like a private investigator? Paladins seem like they would be great family people so I still think she should live with her father in the village, whether her father be paladin or not. Your vision of her father makes him seem very casual and businesslike about his family, where his work takes priority over his own daughter and hes the only parent.

Who's Mailikki, a god? How will god worship help make flora more personable?

First, the father is not with his daughter because he doesn't know her existence. He was to leave the Dryad before Flora was born. That's why he doesn't live with her. And if he knew her, why didn't he try to rescue his wife ?

This is a definition of MIELIKKI ( and not Mailikki, which is the french translation  ) :here

I've created a remote house for the druid, not very far of the village but insulated. It's the tree house of the area AR1600 in BG1.

Nice pic, is it possible to get the unicorn's background changed that it would seem to fit in with the scroll colour?

First, the father is not with his daughter because he doesn't know her existence. He was to leave the Dryad before Flora was born. That's why he doesn't live with her. And if he knew her, why didn't he try to rescue his wife ?

Well that reasonably wraps up explanations, but I still don't know. If they are married & in love and the church orders this paladin to inquire (what do you mean by inquire?)

I'd expect he'd bring her with him, especially for extended time period (~19 years latter!) or otherwise refuse the order of a church who would keep a man from his wife that long.(at some point) At the very least they would stay in contact via letters, and if such letters were to stop he'd come back and check in or have someone else check in.

Please let me ask you, what is so wrong with the father simply raising his daughter? Why does she need to be adopted? You could always have someone else leading what ever force to invade the evil lair and providing information.

BTW, cute idea for a unicorn symbol for spells. Healing spell I'd take it? Also nicely done images. Also nice job on taking out the tear, you can still see it as a slight blue line, especially below the mouth. Which does make it more realistic verses a giant tear, except for where it gets stronger below the mouth :P

I've developped this part of Flora's background.

Flora was born in the "High Forest". Her father was only at this moment an adventurer in quest of treasures and relics with his group. There, he met a Dryad, a Priest of Mailikki, and loved her at first sight. He stopped his activities to stay with her. They had lived together for many years, but one day, during which he was elsewhere, she disappeared. He felt very sad and despaired, so he became a Paladin of Tyr, fighting for Justice, and believed that his love ( and not her wife ;) ) left him. But he never forgot her, he still loves her, and hopes to find her again. In fact, she had been captured by an evil sorcerer, Veronard ( with other forest creatures ), who went back to his head quarters, near "Green-Wood" ( Bois-Vert in french ), to make experiments on them. But before going back, the Dryad who was pregnant, was confined of Flora. The sorcerer left the baby alone, in the forest. She had been adopted by a large human family, but couldn't look after her, so they decided to entrust her to their cousin, who cannot have children, in Green-Wood.
When Flora grew, one day, she met in the forest a mysterious Druid. She immediately make confidence, and he saw into her a potential admirer of Nature. So he started to teach her the values of nature, and especially Mailikki, because he venerated her. She was instinctively attracted by this goddess and became an excellent "pupil" of Mailikki, thanks to her mother.
Now, her father is in mision in this region, and know that there is a sorcerer who keeps imprisonned some forest creatures. He has to release them. He intended to say also that there is the daughter of a Dryad and a human who had been adopted here. After the attack of the wyverns, he'll give her appointment to check her identity...

Spoiler for the next :

Keldorn ( who is not his father ) is in fact a friend af her father. They fought together during a mission and became good friends, not more, but they both followed their own way, and seperated after several years... when she find her father, if Keldorn is in Party, they recognize themselves and seem to be happy to be together again. During a cutscene at the evening, in the house of Flora's parents, Keldorn swear to her father that he will protect her from Evil...

Just to say that I didn't stop creating Flora. I recently saw there were at least two other NPC Druid mod, so I do want to finish this mod to see if it's better tan the others.

During summer, I have made some modifications about Flora. She'll be found earlier, imprisonned in the "copper crown" ( I don't know if it's the good name, cause I've the french version of the game  ). So she'll join you during the quest of this tavern. Actually, she left the Dryads of Windspear to look for her parents. It will be her quest when joining the team.

Finally, there were not new areas, cause it's too difficult to create ones, and I prefer to exploit the most possible certains areas which aren't enough used. But I don't know all the areas in this case...

It is called The Copper Coronet in English, just so you know.

Be great to see this one finished. Please keep up the hard work.

It's a shame to see Bois-Vert go. It sounded like a really great addition to the game, as far as new areas go.

Flora seems like a really interesting NPC! I can't help but think of Flora the Priest of the PS2 RPG Radiata Stories when I read this, but that's okay; I liked Flora the Priest.

Keep up the good work! :)

EDIT: For the record, I believe Moongaze was referring to all the people who complain about Aerie's "melodrama". Also, will this mod be translated into english when you finish?

Thank you two ^^.

Tameon >> The mod will be installed with .tra file, thanks to Weidu. So there'll be, I really hope :), an english version, realized by me or english friends maybe.

Be sure that there will be no melodrama with Flora, but it will be romantic. The romance is being created by me and a mate, and I'm thinking about the quest, which is being very exciting for me ! I believe that what I'm creating is an interesting idea. It concerns especially the bonus to Wisdom we talked about earlier :).

But no reference to the RPG you said...

Just let me know if you need any help with the translation. I don't speak French, but I can help you clean up the Enlgish like I did with Nastian and the Enhanced SoA project if needed.
