Yeah, the main page cms has custom errorpages for "file not found", but is currently set to the main page. It'll be changed. As for the subdomains, that's not the case - so you'll get a 404 alright, although I might throw in one of those, too.

As for .htaccess, it's only natural that you receive a 403. The file's there, but not for public display. Why would you want to access it anyway?

And, after having seen the Gibberlings 3 one, I sometimes take a look at 404 and 403's arount the sites I frequent

BTW, if you try the 404 or 403 pages for the subdomains, you'll get the line "Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." meaning that it's searching for a non-existant page to display.

Hmm, maybe there are more important things to look into than these bugs

Hi

When you browse the Wiki, the title attribute is set to

"Main Page - SHS Wiki "

in a tabbed browser (such as Mozilla) as multiple tabs are opened, the tabs shrink and the title is truncated from the right so that it becomes "Main Pag...".

Making the title "SHS Wiki" or even "Wiki Spellhold Studios" woudl mean the title remains relevant and differentiated down to five or six characters.

In all seriousness, I really need to change that message. I actually have gotten a few apologetic emails from folks thinking they really have broken something.

edit: And oh yeah, throw me in the 'RSS please' category. All you need to do is fix the path in the file.

Been having issues with private messages. I get three messages, per message. this only seems to happen when they are from moderators. It has happened to me with both Seifer and Hlidskiaff. Never seen the issue with regular members at all.

We're planning to close the board down for a few hours this week or next to fix and change some things, and RSS will be one of them .

... Why don't we have ad banners for our mods like PPG? I think it would help promote the mods. If there is a good reason not to then nevermind.

With the forum update, any time I click anything, it makes a series of clicking noises, which is rather irritating. I can't remember, but I think it only used to make one noise. Now it's anywhere from two to half a dozen.

Yep I get the same thing and if I click on a link and then leave the mouse hovering on the link it clicks for like a million times until the page loads.

Also with the RSS link at the bottom of the page I just get a page of html, whether I choose SHS or News. This could be my security settings or something but I thought I'd mention it.
