Could it also have something to do with... Baphomet? , like personality or stance.Bahamut has nothing to to with Bhaal

Nope, Bahamut and Baphomet are completely seperate beings. The former is the deity of Good aligned dragons, the latter is a demonic being worshipped by Minotaurs.
