He is a god of the good dragons correct, but is he still worshipped? does he still exist? is he even a part of AD&D???

Dragonlance, I think(Don't remember other D&D sets much besides FR)

Nope, Bahamut and Baphomet are completely seperate beings. The former is the deity of Good aligned dragons, the latter is a demonic being worshipped by Minotaurs.
