Looking to leave Resentford but Pelletar won't send me back unless I take care of some bandits and speak to Welcar about some thieves in the warehouse. I asked Pelletar to send me back and then Gelpas shows up and now I can't leave.
Welcar was hostile for some reason early upon my arrival in Resentford and my group kicked his ass not knowing that he would be needed to get out of the town and head back to the temple in Beregost.
I wandered around all the areas of Tri-Top, Bone Hill, Bald Hill, North of Resentford, and Reddy Forest and I don't see any bandits that the guard reported killing a merchant when I asked Pelletar to send me back.
How do I get out of this place and back to the Sword Coast?
Had my fun with the mod but looking to head back.
I'm running the Bgtutu version of Bone Hill.
Thanks for any help.

I assume your rep was in the crapper. That would be the only reason for Welcar or the guards to attack you on sight. Same as a flaming fist soldier.

You don't need Welcar to finish this last quest. Go north of town. Go head NW to a bridge. There will be a bandit there. You will be ambushed. Bring the note on his body back to Pelltar. He will let you look around his place for history books for clues about the note. Once you find out about the sewers, you can go south to the abandoned house and investagate there.
After you get the note off the corpse in the sewers, go back to Pelltar. He will recognize that this is a map (Fabio will also if he is with you) of Restenford. He will mention the lighthouse. You are on your own from there.

Thanks for the help bud. I just didn't check far enough toward the bridge to find the bandits in that north of Resentford area.
Everything else went smoothly and I completed the final quest.
The mod was a lot of fun, great work. I'll be re-visiting Resentford when I see Pelltar again later on in the main game.

i can't find the note
wheres the corpse? is there anyway i can CLUA it into myself? ive searched everywhere, and i cant find no note.thanks!
