I've met a strange bug, can be an installation error tho, I'm not sure. I have my BP-BGT-NEJ build, and added CTB, DSOTSC, NTOSC, SOBH, TGC, Ease (BP-compatible components only), BG1NPC, Rougue rebalance mod, refinements v2, One pixel productions, plus Yacomo's worldmap and menu. I was off to the Gnoll stronghold when I met this strange bug. When I enter this (see on the pic) area the loading screen does not disappear. Instead it slowly goes transparent and then nothing remains but a black blank screen with my party on it. I can move around, even the map looks okay, but simply no area graphics shown!

If everything goes okay, you will see a screenshot here, hang on...

Edit: Damn!

I'm an idiot for sure, I can't post that bloody screenshot!

This is the damaged TIS/WED file problem (animated overlays, doors or other bad tiles).

A fixed version of the area is in DSotSC. I assume you have installed that after installing CtB? What version of DSotSC did you install? There is a 30MB version of 1.5 that you should use. It has the fixed areas. The two file version of 1.5 (two parts, Main and Core) has a bad version of that TIS file.

Yes, I installed DSotSC right after CTB. And yes, I think I used a two file version :(. If I download the file you mentioned and then reinstall DSotSC, will it work?

It is basically the same mod except that I use the tilesets that are already in the game instead of having you install new ones. This saves disk space. You can uninstall DSotSC, remove the directory and Setup files, download the smaller version and extract back into your SOA folder. Just realize that all those other mods will be uninstalled as well and you will have to reinstall them yourself.

It may be easier to just extract the better files and put them in your override folder. What you need are the WED files from AR3499, AR3498, and AR3497. I am almost positive that the WED files are the issue, not the actual TIS files. However, if need be, I included the tisunpack file which you can use to extract those three areas as well.

To extract the TIS files, run a DOS prompt and change over to the DSotSC folder. Copy the Tisunpack.exe file to the TIZ folder and run the following commands:

tisunpack -f AR3499.tiz
tisunpack -f AR3498.tiz
tisunpack -f AR3497.tiz

Take the three new TIS files and copy them to your override folder overwriting the three that are already there.

Hopefully, the simplier solution of the WED files is the answer. :)
