Hmmm... not bad, not bad... Perhaps Korgan kind of overuses 'me axe'. I mean, he says it a lot, but IIRC not in every possible sentence. Still, it's quite good (I like "more o'yer blasted *feelings*, very 'Korganish').
Thanks for the useful feedback Lord E (as ever!), I'm glad you liked it. Looking back at the banter I think you may be right about the prevalence of Korgan's axe, so thanks for the pointers!

First, I've noticed two typos: its instead of it's in the third line, and full stop missing at the end of the first line.
Also, there are somewhat too many emphasises, "*" - I think one per dialogue is more than enough. It's just me, of course, but I think that Bioware did not overindulge it, either.
And finally, the length of the dialogue. I think it is too long compared to the original Bioware dialogues, and thus, stands out, screaming to me, as a player: "it is a mod!" Also, it may invoke a 'trapped' feeling in the player - he's got to press "continue" a good dozen times.
Other than that, a very interesting concept!

Though, now you mention it, there's perhaps a bit too many *'s in there, especially the Korgan banter.

how come you always look so damn cool in every photo I see you in?!?
Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.
Still a cyberjock, still hacking the matrix, still unsure of what that means.

As a funny sidenote (it has been awhile since I've been here). The PC appears to be named Kalthorine (duh ) in the Korgan - Chrysta banter. Won't he look up weird in Watcher's Keep
Still modding the Mod for the Wicked... It is a big project you know... And I got sidetracked (several times) a bit... sorry.

It is rare that I bow to popular opinion, but the consensus of opinion in response to my "Acceptable levels of spoilerage" poll seems to be that the majority of people like to have the occasional tidbit of spoilerage to keep them interested.
With that in mind, I have decided to relax my anti-spoiler policy and release ONE in-game screenie/spoiler per month during development - just don't expect any plot spoilers in advance!
This is a composite shot showing one of Chrysta's early banters with Minsc (as with the above screenshot, the portrait used in this is not the one to be included with the final mod):
I have to admit I'm very impressed with the characterisation and wit of this snapshot.

BTW, I must be a dummy as well because unless she was a bard I don't know where she would get her lore from, either.

I promise to do my best not to let you down then... there is nothing like high ecpectations to keep the (positive) pressure on!These are GREAT, Sir K! I especially love the banters with Minsc and Edwin. Well done! I'm glad so much progress has been made. I know she'll definately be worth the wait.
And neither should you... but rest assured that all will become clear when you play the mod. I am not (nor ever have been) a fan of the "Deus ex Machina" unexplained goodie/power/plot device. Everything will have a rationale that can be discovered and explained logically and consistently within the game, but be warned that you may have to play things exactly right to get all of the answers first time around!BTW, I must be a dummy as well because unless she was a bard I don't know where she would get her lore from, either.

Not angry at all, I don't do angryOkay, don't get angry... but euh... aren't they a bit ... like too long? ... Pls, don't kill me
And yes, they are rather long when compared with standard Bioware banters - but that is one of the things people will be warned about with respect to Chrysta. She will be much more "front-and-centre" than many NPCs so far released... not because I think it is needed, or that previously released NPCs are somehow "deficient" in that regard (I do not think that at all, in fact far from it - the 'best' NPCs are those that integrate themselves seamlessly in as Bioware-NPC a way as possible). I just intend making Chrysta a different kind of NPC experience, with numerous sidequests, new (or old ) areas, longer banters than normal, etc. So she won't be a regular Bioware-style NPC, as much as I am a personal fan of those - after all this time, I want to give people a new kind of NPC experience (complete with warnings as to what is different about her). This is also part of the reason why she is taking so long.
