I just thought I'd post a few teaser screenshots from the "Alpha Chrysta" I produced with the purpose of allowing the mod team to play around with a raw version of Chrysta and her custom kit.

I am relaxed about posting these as there is nothing really spoilery here. All the dialog shown has already been posted in the "Chrysta's joining dialog" example thread, and there is nothing here that you wouldn't be able to find out right at the start of the game just by checking her character screens.

Oh, and the portraits shown here are only placeholders... there will be custom made portraits in the real mod. The mod release version will also almost certainly differ from this "Alpha Chrysta" in a few other ways as well.

Still, having said all that... at least this should show that we are making some progress :thumb:

Looks nice, Sir K. The powergamer in me notices the first NPC like ever with worse HP then Aerie. He also wonders how her druidic thief kit will work out. The rest of me is wondering about the dialogues... Exactly what teaser schreenshots should do: I'm fascinated.

It is rare that I bow to popular opinion, but the consensus of opinion in response to my "Acceptable levels of spoilerage" poll seems to be that the majority of people like to have the occasional tidbit of spoilerage to keep them interested.

With that in mind, I have decided to relax my anti-spoiler policy and release ONE in-game screenie/spoiler per month during development - just don't expect any plot spoilers in advance!

This is a composite shot showing one of Chrysta's early banters with Minsc (as with the above screenshot, the portrait used in this is not the one to be included with the final mod):

Just noticed a 54 lore on her. May I ask why? I thought she uses thief and druid things. I don't see how that lore can be so high. Thiefs get +3 and druids +1
