Hi guys,

Was wondering if this is a problem or not. I am on the area to the west of Restenford, the temple icon, and theres a path that leads off the bottom of the map that has a sign that says south to garraton, but i click on it and it brngs me to a worldmap with no new icons.. can i not access this town in the first time to the island (it is during the first set of quests, not after candlekeep), or should i be able to go there and there is a problem

thanks

Hi Newbie,

Did you install Yacomo's worldmap or is it the one that came with BoneHill?

I cannot tell you for sure because I haven't gotten that far in my game yet, but I believe Sir BillyBob said that you go to Garotten the second time around, when you exit the Candlekeep Catacombs. So it might be normal that you cannot access Garotten.

I hope this helps you.

Thanks for your help!

I also seem to have another problem.
************* SPOILERS****************************

When i enter the sewers first off the map pins do not say the correct things. I believe the two pins have parts of other dialogues in there description. also when I exit the sewers into a house with theifs, i cannot exit the house through the front door, only back in to the sewers, not sure if you are supposed to exit it through the door but because ive been having that problem with the warehouses in restenford thought id check.

thanks

I remember from version 1.5 that the sewers had bad names for the exits. I don't know if this is still the case in version 1.9 Maybe SirBillyBob can help you with that one.

I cannot help you with the house with the thiefs as I am planning on going to BoneHill this weekend, but I am sure that others can shed some light on your problem.

You can't go out the front door of the thieves area, you have to go out a window on the right side of the house. You will see this if you entered the house from outside that the entrance is in a side room, not the main room.

Not sure about the map pins on the sewers. There should be two on the map and both have the word "Exit". Since that string reference is already in the game, I don't have to install that text during mod installation. However, I see that version 1.9 does install the text for those two pins, so it is possible that this was an older version bug. If you are running version 1.9, you should not have this problem with the text for those pins. "Should" being the key word here.

As for Garrotten, no you can't go there until Pelltar sends you there. In fact, it won't ever show on your map until a dialog with him reveals that area. There is no reason for you to go there during the first part of the mod. After Candlekeep, you will get the chance to go there.
