Personally I found it a little odd since the Wookie language is just a bunch of roars and cannot be compared to Galactic Basic in any way.
How can anyone tell if a wookie pronounces Jedi with two e's and an a?

On the Obsidian forums there are tons of people spelling it Reven or Raven...
It's: R-E-V-A-N.
How hard can it be?

or KotOR 3: Attack of the Nihilus lookalike (hopefully that won't happen)

That's not even rare, they mispell almost everything, like ie. Malak becomes Makel, Malek, Makal etc..
