The Part i like most about KoTOR 2 is when you fight in the war on Dantooine. I know war is bad but you cant walk away.

KOTOR dealt with your retraining as a Jedi in a simple cutscene. KOTOR 2 takes that idea and deals with it in a much more gradual, more involved process - Kreia's teachings of various force techniques and her lessons on the responsibility of wielding power. That adds so much more to the feeling of 'being a Jedi', puts the mystique back in and stops 'Jedi' just being a class choice and a bunch of cool powers. I found that refreshing after the first game, and the Jedi Knight series ("I found a lightsaber in a garage and that makes me a Jedi!").

Hmm, good question.
My favourite parts were converting your standard party members into jedi, light or dark.
The difference in the dialogs were interesting as well
After an eternity away from you all, I've returned.

I think that the workbench was the most interestin' thing in KotOR II. Too much crap and too little amount of intriguing content.

Just about everyone, as long as it's no droid, wookie or already a jedi.

You just need to get the right requirements.

Bao-Dur: Just get enough influence, then talk to him to get the "Having you here has an effect on me General" Dialog.

Handmaiden: Spar and win 3x, then talk to Kreia about her mother, then talk to Handmaiden again.

Mira: Get enough influence, then talk to her and ask her to show the force one day. Then take her to Nar Shadaar and walk a few circle around the big pit in the middle.

Atton: Talk with 2 Twi'leks in the Refugee Sector in Nar Shaddaar and then talk to Atton about it.

Disciple: Get enough influence then talk to him.

They can all be jedi in the same game, there alignment will be based on yours, so dark side, you'll get dark jedi guardians etc.
After an eternity away from you all, I've returned.

How to get influence on Bao-dur and Disciple, playing dark? Bao is the only party member except Kreya that I could never shift. :online2long:

You have to take LS points and get influence on him. When he's a jedi you can drop back to DS, and if his alignment is dependable on yours...

Oh yeah. :D

And Atton's pazzak lines with my female Exile is just sweeeet.

oh, and that I want to hold your gland dialog. hehe

Quest-wise, I like how doing Dantooine (LS) helps improve the reputation of Jedi. A more complete quest IMO.

You need to gain influence with him and bring him out to do certain quests. Example in Dantooine, be nice to the alien who tried to rip the droids when you found his hydrospanner. You can gain influence with Bao-Duh there and speak to him again and the dialog option will come out.

Basically, after exhausting all dialog options with him and be nice to him, I have to bring him out to do 2 quests that gain his influence before I can turn him into a jedi.

Thats the one thing I hated the most. He couldn't wear robes (I understand why, the arm.) And he couldn't wear any armour that would give unrestricted force use :glare:

The only thing that Bao-Dur can wear that gives him some protection and unrestricted force use is the miner's uniform from Peragus. It's not much, but with some decent underlays you can get away with it.

You can always use the ugly miner suit but I rather let him learn those force powers that won't be restricted by armor, like Force Cure etc. No force speed for Bao though and I let him wear the sith armor, more dexerity.
