There is no plug-in - it would be nice. There is a manual process to do this, somewhat described here. There are also some modding tools (one by Sam.) but I think they are all in alpha and thus not public yet.

Something like a dracolich would be very hard, because you'd have to split it up so it conforms to the BG2 dragon format. You can't have BAM frames that are larger than 256 pixels, so it'd have to be split up into quarters or ninths. It would be very cool to have though - I never liked using the regular dragon animations for dracoliches.

Infinity Engine Contributions
Aurora * BG1 NPC * BG1 Fixpack * Haiass * Infinity Animations * Level 1 NPCs * P5Tweaks
PnP Free Action * Thrown Hammers * Unique Containers * BG:EE * BGII:EE * IWD:EE

Player & Modder Resources
BAM Batcher * Creature Lister * Creature Checker * Creature Fixer * Tutu/BGT Area Map & List * Tutu Mod List

I have already that post. The pb is that he uses 3D max. I can't read NWN animations with Blender.

I have already converted the Age of Wonder Dracolich but it is too small. So I called it "Dracolichette" (sorry, I am french). I will use it with a summoning spell.
I could post gifs if you like.

I know the pb of creating Dragons animations : it is a mess !!!
For the moment, I just apply a "fade" effect to the Shadow Dragon to make my Draco-Lich : It is not the top !!!

But I keep on working...

If you have a working "dracolichette" (it makes sense in English too, but would there be a "baby dracolich" by definition - they must all be old, no?) feel free to upload it to the "downloads" section in the Infinity Animations forum. I think anyone can upload animations there - we've had a few like the random werebear, pack mule, etc., from other people.

We are working on similar problems and possible animated utilities in the IA private forum. If you want access, send a PM to Sam. or me for the password, perhaps he may have some utility that may help convert it. I think not, though, it may be a manual process for now :(.

Thanks.

I am also working on converting a unicorn and horses from Oblivion into BG2. I have all the animations but I must face many pbs with the way Blender renders them. I don't know how you say that in English, but I have big pbs with the Alpha Canal which blends the background color with the creature. But I am still working on it.

Just a screenshot about the "DracoLichette" :

It is part of a mod I am developping : "Menace sur le Royaume de Diamant Éternel", that could be translated like this : "Threat on the Kingdom of Everlasting Diamond".

For the moment, the Dracolichette is not finished : AoW doesn't provide the East and West views, so I have to create them : it is a damned mess !!!

Thanks, I keep on working. But it helps a lot when your work seems to please others...

Aye they look good, hope you can get a larger one working. Also, you might want to use larger selection circles (they are hardcoded to animation slots - there is some information in the Infinity Animations documentation on that).
