It wasn't Deano, it was someone else, but I've already done this because it definitely isn't used anywhere.

These are the names of the oldtimers over at TeamBG. Deano created the Reign of Freedom and Reign of Virtue mods (which I still use today).

1) I think all EraseJournal() shold be removed - all will be done in AR0602.
2) All NPCs presence in party checks (and corresponding actions) should be removed - everything is done already in AR7208.

Progress update.

New journal system for Baldur's Gate portion of BGT is complete. TotSC journal entries still need to be sorted out. After that, I'll need to check stability of the installation, then make sure there aren't any eye-glaring bugs, before I release it for open-beta testing.

KD, I've already cleaned out ALL redundant files, so you don't need to do this.

Heavy update for scripts.

Here I'm posting the whole package archive because it's too messy to extract the updates only.

94_Fixed_Beta_2.rar

Revision is done upone all BAFs and their installation. So plz pay attention to the \Base\BAF\, \Modify\BAF\ and TP2 corresponding section. Some files appeared, some are gone.

I'll try to describe the major issues:

1) Numerous additions of Continue() action to scripts with OnCreation() triggers. Some of them didn't work without Continue()'s due to the initial pass breaking.

2) Numerous checks for different combination of TotSC quest completion replaced just by one in ARU000.BAF

3) DPLAYER,2,3 fixed heavily. Old ones didn't have important actions for the Marek's Antidote and Werewolves' infection quests. They were just missed(!).

The system for armor/shileds/weapon shattering is updated and fixed. It's working now and working well.
Original AGEN.BS and APASS.BS modified. That fixes a situation when the old ones put 100% BLOCK on any other character scripts execution(!).

4) BRAGECUT patching modified. Removes bg1 loading screen during area tranistion.

5) DKHALID patching removed. That was for BP or something...

6) ENDCH4 patching order modified.

7) xJAHEIRA and xMINSC modified - XP check timer start added ;o)

8) TRANZI patching removed. That script is unused.

9) ARD016 - the last action in the script is modified to remove an infinite loop.

10) AR4300, AR7246 BAFs removed - they do nothing that is necessary, just some bulk actions.
IMOENBG1.BAF is unused one as well.

I didn't look at any compatibility sections - only the basic BGT.

Just as well you got this in. I was about to say 0.94 won't be supported anymore, which will now be the case, because there is a super overhaul and I don't want to waste my time finding out which fixes still apply and which ones don't anymore.

Progress update.

BGT-WeiDU 0.99 BETA is now in closed beta-testing stage. It may still be a few weeks before I release it to open beta-testing because I need to make sure critical things are working correctly. As I said before, look for a release no later than the end of June.

2) If so do you rely on baldurdashed bg1 configuration or just original one? I mean existing non-weidu baldurdash for bg1 package.

Yes, bg1\override is taken care of but ONLY the .DLG and .BCS files of the vanilla bg1 install (i.e. no baldurdash). There aren't many at all.

There's a problem with new version, 94 fixed beta 2.rar, the game doesn't start. I have TDD, SOS, TS and NEJ weidu installed. With the previous version (94 fixed beta 1) the game started without problems. Can I use that old version or will I miss something important? Thanks for the assistance.

Of course you can. I have relinquished support of 0.94 BETA, and never really supported KingDiamond's fixed releases, so I don't really know what is going wrong there. KD will be able to tell you for sure, but there are a number of important fixes in Beta 2, which include shattering armor/shields, but who needs those to shatter? :P

A note on compatibility with TDD, SOS, TS and NeJ however. I believe that KD did not have compatibility in mind when he ran through BG1 and fixed stuff and when he removed redundant files, so you also may find that some things don't function probably because not all the compatibility files are there (i.e. they would come up as unused when he went through them because their functional references were not installed). If you have the patience, try it anyway and bear with the bugs, or alternatively, you can wait to 0.99 BETA, which now has full compatibility with BP mods and a host of other nice new features. I will not guarantee that the new version will be bug-free (that's why it is still BETA), and the new features will no doubt be full of those annoying insects.

Therefore, whatever you decide to do, it is up to you. However, I cannot and will not give support for bugs/problems you may encounter during the game because I work with 0.99 BETA now and not with 0.94 BETA. Look for a release at the end of this month.

Can you be more specific? What do you mean "doesn't start"?
And it's never been tested with another mods for compatibility yet so ther're could be ANY problems with that.

when I click on the BG1 option to start a new game, and also when I try to start a BG2 game, the engine crashes and returns to windows with an error message where it asks me to report to microsoft the application problem. I'll try to use the old version and I'll tell you what problems I encounter.
