Well, I think this depends on your definition of 'better'. Playing through the normal game at least once will surely give you a 'better' understanding of what is changed by the mods and if those changes are for the better or worse. If you are almost through I would say, yes go have a look how the normal game concludes. Then start over with all the mods and discover how much has suddenly changed. Let us know when you have found Mobap the Squirrel or Father and Mother
