Weidu is a mod installer program. That means we use it to build and install/uninstall mods. The old method was similar to a normal application install, it ran a status bar across the screen, placed icons on your desktop, and added itself to the Control Panel's Installed Programs list. However, that method assumed it was the only mod being installed and it would not work with other mods.
BP was designed as a "band-aid" to place on top of the three big mods so they would work together. Horred (the creator of BP) was never given permission to bundle the mods into one package. So you have to go download and install each one.
The files you see on the Wizards site are all correct. You need two files for Sos (one the main package, one a small patch), same with TDD. Tortured Souls will not be that easy. Check the top of this forum for readmes on installing this one. I guarantee you will screw it up at least once (we all have).
The autoinstaller will install each of the mods and the BP (band-aid) for you, if you place each file in the SOA directory the way that it needs to find them.
I would recommend that you don't do the BGT part until you can successfully install BP. BP is for an SOA game, BGT is if you want to go back to Candlekeep and start as a level 1 player). The install process with BGT is even more complicated.

Ok, I foun this website that has the exact same files as the wizard's mirror, but the download speed goes around 100-200 KBPS.

I installed everything correctly now and Baldurs gate 2 works, with the Big Picture!
Thanks all.
The only thing wrong when I play is that the sound echoes.
Whenever somone talks, or a noise happens, 3-4 voices come up, starting 1 second after the other. It's jsut really annoying. Is there any way to fix this?
What the heck? Bug Bears?
They are so tough.
Is it possible to play this mod solo?

Is your framerate high enough? Is the game running at normal speed or does it seem to "lag"? (Note: the game is supposed to run at 30 AI updates/second (" 30 FPS ").
Do you get the sound echoes with a CLEAN, non BP installation of Baldur's Gate 2?
If you do, then it's a sound driver issue.
Bugbears are hard with their arrows, but just soften them up with a couple of fireballs, then haste and bless your party members. Bugbears were not there at the beginning in the stock
BG2.
Also keep in mind that BP has better monster AI than the normal game, so don't be surprised to see your mages and archers getting pounded.
Of course soloing is possible, but I am NOT sure how you would do it. The game's plot revolves around events with some characters; Unlike Baldur's Gate 1, I think you have to play a solo multiplayer game for this, but I don't know. I do know it has been won solo; some people like the Kensai/mage dual class combination, because both classes have the very similar restrictions, but vastly different abilities.
Have you ever played or won
BG2 before? If not, I would recommend NOT doing it solo.
I was originally starting out in
BG2 immediately after beating
BG1 (didn't do that much of the first dungeon) years ago, but a HD crash caused a wipe of my characters (I was able to rescue 75% of the files on my hard disk, but couldn't finish, before the HD slowly degraded into uselessness. Oh---the drive was an IBM deathstar (cough, deskstar).
I was lucky enough to find out about the big picture before replaying
BG1 to play
BG2, and am now enjoying it. But you do have to deal with the bugs. And some of the spells don't behave as they -should-. (especially the
TDD spells are sometimes very buggy---Prayer doesn't even work right. (I had to edit the spell myself to make it do barely anything....the wy the spell was built was very illogical).
