I corrected several typos and removed leading spaces for all string updates there. Updated package is available at the old location:

Hi Alisha,

Unfortunately, if it seems like people are ignoring you it usually means that they have no clue what is wrong. So, I am going to have a shot <gulp>.

Is there a dialog.tlk in your c:\programfiles\blackisle\bgii-SoA?
Also, is your whole setup in this directory (so, are you running this .exe in your BGii-SoA directory)? If not, then move all of your setup files for the character into your BGii-SoA directory and run the install again.

Also, just a forum tip...if you have a new question, start a new topic rather than reply in a topic that probably has nothing to do with your problem.

Hope you are able to understand this.

No prob, KD--it's a cool system, once you get the hang of it. Much power available in the scripts with it.

It's even possible to add more spells to the detectables, even though the slots are used up. You could use values of 11 and up, for example (most spells/stats currently use values 1-6 max). ;)
As long as it's documented, so others can make use of it (if they take the time to read :P).

My major task with BD for now is not to break something that's already present. :)

And trying to accomplish that (with Asc and BP mod installed) I've even invented a way not only to modify existing spells effects, but to add new at any location necessary in effects stock... :) WeiDU only.... :thumb:

So, here it is an updated version that is now 100% BP compatible and could be installed at any stage: before or after BP (recommended stage - AFTER BP :) )

But now it is BP's issue: BP installation can break some fixes 'coz it simply doesn't (or didn't - I dunno :shifty: ) contain several ones....

Now it contains all Detectable spells (DS) checks and properly patches them with or without DS presence.

Once again - some errors fixed, file copying (spells mostly) reduced to a minimum.

P.S. I've found some CORRUPTED or UNPATCHED .SPL files (for example: SPWI716.SPL - total mess, SPWI804.SPL - unpatched) in the original BD package (BP as well 'coz it includes BD) that didn't match their textual descriptions from BG2ToBFixPack112ReadMe.txt. I hope I managed to fix that.

A previous mod restriction of being installed before BGT is skipped now 'coz it was a wrong decision....It just can't corrupt something absolutely. So I hope this is a last update... :rolleyes:

A recommended installation stage for Baldurdash-WeiDU now - to be the latest one, after all other mods including BP.

Old location is updated.

I suggest you to take a look into it (especially the dialogs, that may affect BGT somehow - don't know). And you can drop BD contents from BGT freely (~350 files I think) - it does nothing concerning bg1 part (except some common creatures and spells, but they are here).

Some string updates were not compatible with renamed BGT sounds. Fixed now.

Many ITMs errors fixes added: invalid item categories (short sword instead of long sword for example), proficiencies, minimum required stats for using, usability flags for different classes.

Now everything is sorted according to item descriptions.

Some fixes for item descriptions as well (were incorrect item types).
