I've been using Shadowkeeper to alter my character, but it doesn't recognize modded kits.  It was suggested that I get Near Infinity to if I want to multiclass using custom kits, but I have absolutely no idea how to do this.  I downloaded Near Infinity and Java because the web page I was looking at said both were necessary.  I have no idea what to do with either of them *_*.  How do I even start up Near Infinity?  I tried opening it with Java and it wouldn't show up on the list, and if I clicked on it from the menu it did nothing.

I had to download the NearInfinity.bat and put it in the same folder as the NearInfinity.jar file and double click on the bat. file and then wait for it to start up. Hope this helps.

Moved to a better location.

If you have Java installed, just double-click the .jar-file.

Eh, what are these .jar and .bat things you are talking about? All I have is a folder titled near infinity with other folders in it and tons and tons of things that say .class at the end. I am totally lost =(.

Haha, didn't your mom tell you to not open the jar?

Apparently my computer changed the name of the .jar to .zip, so naturally I unzipped it. I downloaded the .bat and clicked that, and a window came up. I selected chitin.key and now I'm trying to figure out how to alter my save. Thanks guys.

I altered my character to be exactly what I wanted =). Except that he won't stop praying because of the Morituri class... O well. Thanks for the help.

How can I give my character the boots of speed? I can't figure out how to add a specific item using Near Infinity; Shadowkeeper won't let me remove items once I add them, and cluaconsule cheats aren't working at all.

Open the appropriate save folder. From the files listed, click on Baldur.gam. In the Player Characters box, select the character you want to edit and then click the view/edit button at the bottom of that box. Click the CRE tab, then the items/spells tab. That should do it. :)

That's what I did. Seeing what items I have doesn't do me any good. I can edit items I already have but I have no idea how to add a new one.

You have to assign the item to a slot location. See those numbers next to the items already in your inventory, that match up with the number in the "location slot" below? Do that.

Lol. Dude I already found the slots, I just don't know how to choose an item to add to it. Shadowkeeper was so much simpler.

Double click while you press alt and ctrl, close your left eye and touch your right ear.

You might even try DLTCEP which is only slightly easier than doing the above.
