Ok so I have to make a complete remormatting of the harddrive. There's no way out of this one. Is it possible ot keep my savegames intact if I move them to a temporary drive (USB flash memory for instace), reinstall BGIISoA after the reformat, install Chloemod again (the only mod I have) and then put my savegames back where it was?
Or will the dialouge be screwed up? I have bad memories of Morrowind savegames going haywire (decapitated commoners, all main characters suddenly being triplets...) after reinstalling. Should I be worried?

Of course. Heh, I did that (removed BG2 and started the game later with the old savegames) a lot of times. But keep also a copy of the dialog.tlk file, because, if you don't, the dialogue can screw up, though not always (I speak of the dialogs from the mod, not the original ones, which are not disturbed whatever you do).

As long as you install the same mods in the same order, you should be able to use your old savegames. If Chloe is the only mod you've installed, that should be easy. :) Just move your savegames somewhere safe and copy them back once you've reinstalled.

The dialouge.tlk file, got it. Gonna save that one aswell. Thanks alot, the both of you. I where really worried there for a moment.

On another note, anyone here doesn't happen to know how to move my mozilla bookmarks from one place to another? There doesn't seem to be a "favorites" folder like with IE, and I really don't like IE.

Well, I'm using Firefox so it might be different, but here goes. Go to Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks. Then go File->Export, and you'll be able to export the bookmarks as an html file. Put that wherever your save games are going. :)

I suggest you against saving it. You'd better store only your saves, then install BG2, install Chloe and start playing. If she appears to say wrong lines, force-talk her and tell her that she looks strange (the last option I believe). If this doesn't work, then nothing you could have done would have been able to save your games (unless you are a modder and are going to fix manually your saves).

Well, I must confess I had once problems which dissapeared only when I used the old dialog.tlk. I still think it's a safety measure. :P
