When starting a baldurs gate game with BP-BGT-NEJ and weimers mods, essentially everything explodes into a fiery mess, yes a fiery mess...
Cows roar and curse in drow, Turning the book back into the lady at candlekeep essentially made her come to admit how she killed a guy and buried him in her back yard... and gorion sounds strangly....femanine...
But heres the catch... Ive reinstalled several dozen times, and the same bug is happening... everything goes fine when the main char talks, journal entries are good even...
But as soon as any other player talks to the people for quest, KABOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM its over
and to top it off... everything works a-ok... again... as long as the main char is talking to them...
Not to mention occasionally mian character will talk to someone and the other player wont even see the dialogue at all, theyll just move around as nothing else...i dunno...any clues?

I'm not sure if I understood right, but is it possible that you did not set Force Dialog Pause=1 in your baldurs .ini ?
Cuz if it is as I understood, that is probably your problem.
For the rest, let me see if I understood right.
When your main character talks to other npc's everything is ok.
When an Custom Made* NPC in you party talks to another NPC, everything goes beserk.
*Custom Made = Basicly not an NPC, but is not your main char (I.E. In multiplay your created 4 characters at start, 1 is your main Char and the 3 others are the custom made as I call them).
You seem a little contradictory in your post ^^ that's why I'm not sure what your exacly experiencing.

Yes and no.
Me and my girlfriend are playing together...
when I talk to firebeard elvenhair for instance, and do his quest, all the dialogue goes okay, and the journal updates fine.
If SHE did it however while I host... the journal sounds more like random jibberish, and the dialogue screws up, cows start to roar, and people begin to mutter some really scary stuff...

It only sounds contradictory because it ... is... contradictory... The game works absolutely fine on single player and with my main character, and just... doesnt... with anyone else.
Im sorry i misunderstood your other question, yes, when ia custom pc talks to an npc (the custom being played by my girlfriend) then all hell breaks loose but is promptly fixed seemingly as soon as i talk to a new npc and start a new quest...
Reinstalled severaltimes, both of us
Even copy/pasted the SOA folder
Done everything from base BP-BGT to an install with all kinds of mods...
Still does it...
Its weird, really really weird

Maybe there's a bug with players that are not Children of Bhaal. It is definitly weird though. I can't really help you so I'll let someone in a better position to answer, answer you !
Yes definitly, it seems to be a bug with players that are not children of bhaal...can anyone assist with this? Maybe an impromptu patch can be made or something i dunno.
It seems to cause the dialog to go horribly wrong when the non bhaalspawn player talks to an npc...
I have BP-BGT-NEJ Latest versions, all the precursor reqs including patching SOA...
Added on to that is just the weimer mods - Ease of use, Item Upgrade, level 50 spells, and Underrepresented items mod.
Thats all, beside the 3.13 patch and the S and H patch's....

Why level 50 spells? It says somewhere that a version of this is already included in the bp-bgt-nej mod.

Level 50 spells are NOT part of BP.
Well, that's not what it says on the compatability page: http://www.shsforums...showtopic=10926
"**Spell-Related Mods**
Spell-50 - I - a version included
Narm's Cloud Mod - ?
King Dutka's Disarm Trap Spell - C
Mana-based Spell System - N "

Paktu's List of what is compatible with BP
He is listing the things that are compatible with BP. Not bp-bgt-nej. But I don't think that matters anyways. He is listing what can be ADDED to BP, not what comes with it. So yeah, he's right. Level 50 spells are NOT part of BP.

I extended spellcaster 2DA's so they had something to do at lvl 50. That's why adding those are not only redunudant, but potentially asking for trouble.
I never have had the opportunity to try multiplayer with 2 seperate people; just with my own party--this worked fine. Even with a split personality, it would be very hard for one person to test that mode; hope I'm stating the obvious.
EDIT: have you tried either bg1 or bg2, unmodded, in this mode? with the "off-player" speaking? that would be the first base of comparison. If THAT doesn't work right, this should be addressed to Bioware, not the poor amateur modding crew.

I don't have 2 PC's (well, I do--but one is from 1996, with a 2.4GB drive ), so there is absolutely no way for me to look into this--sorry.

Anyone have a set of default files for BP-BGT-NEJ then that I can use to replace the ones the spell 50 thing overwrote or whatever? =)
Might be it..i dunno.
I will continue to look into the matter and try to see if i can find a cause and solution.

There's a difference here between Spell 50 and Level 50 spell .2da files. The former is Weimer's extrapolation of spells like fireball increasing up to level 50. This is NOT included iwith BP. The latter, is spell progression for spellcasters up to level 50. This IS included in BP.
Thanks for clearing that up =)
