I think we can face the fact that good mirrors are getting hard to come by very quickly, and the mirrors we have are less than reliable.

Has anyone considered uploading these mods in some way shape or form to fileplanet? It of course requires a free membership but its better than nothing, and quite fast too...

Its also a ticket to keeping these mods alive for quite some time!

If I could get the mod files like BGT and so on and so forth downloaded (mirrors are giving me serious problems) I would be happy to with the authors permission of course... Maybe even upload a single file zipped with everything you need for BP+BGT+NEJ all in one file, itd be a huge file but also worth the download!

What do you think?

No. no mod packages. In fact, the next version of bp and bp-bgt will not even be nej-included. It will be a standalone component, put in at the user's option. I "might" facilitate this purpose by providing a special .tp2 file and a couple .bat files (for biffing/unbiffing purposes only), and I will include Ulcaster BG2 in the bp and bp-bgt worldmaps (it only will be revealed by the NeJ2 plot). Otherwise, consider it a solo, independent mod. This includes the archaic NeJ1 package as well--it will not be supported by BPv170 (or BP-BGT) at ALL! NeJ2 is so close to compatible, it does not require any special binding like NeJ1 did. And the NeJ2 package includes NeJ1 right in it.

FYI--if I wanted this on File Planet, i would have put it on there 2 years ago...enough said?

FilePlanet wouldn`t be such a bad idea, seeing that the speeds of the current mirrors is quite low (in any case a big THANK YOU goes to those who provide them), yet I would recommend Bittorrent for such endeavors.

I was just offering to help, as I said the mirrors for the mods seem rather slow at times. If you dont plan to include them then thats fine by me, I was just offering the possability and to help.
