Hello!

I have downloaded the BG1 TuTu version of Secret of Bonehill (from Black Wyrm) and when I double click on the file BoneHillv17TutuMain.rar, I get this:

! BoneHill\areas: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\areas" è danneggiata
! BoneHill\backup: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\backup" è danneggiata
! BoneHill\bafs: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\bafs" è danneggiata
! BoneHill\bams: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\bams" è danneggiata
! BoneHill\creatures: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\creatures" è danneggiata
! BoneHill\d: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\d" è danneggiata
! BoneHill\english: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\english" è danneggiata
! BoneHill\items: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\items" è danneggiata
! BoneHill\scripts: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\scripts" è danneggiata
! BoneHill\sounds: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\sounds" è danneggiata
! BoneHill: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill" è danneggiata

It's italian but it means that the header of the file "X" is damaged.

Something similar (but less compaints) when I duble click on the other file called BoneHillTIZ.rar:

! BoneHill\tiz: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill\tiz" è danneggiata
! BoneHill: L'intestazione del file "BoneHill" è danneggiata

Is this just normal or the file is corrupted ? Thanks! :)

Hmm, I didn't know I knew Italian. Do you use WinRAR or WinACE? WinRAR should open up a window displaying all the files inside the RAR file. Right clicking on a RAR file should give you the option to "Extract Here". So place the Main and TIS files into your SOA folder, right click on each and select Extract Here. Also, WinRAR should allow you to text a RAR file to see if the download got corrupt.

:D Yes, you do know italian! Remember from high school ? Ehm ehm...However I use WinRAR (a pretty old version though). Those "warnings" I get from WinRAR don't prevent me from extracting the files in the SOA directory. I just get them again after the extraction. Technically it seems more like a "warning" than an error but I hoped you could confirm that somehow. I might try and extract them with WinACE perhaps and see if it reports differently. I'll let you know... :) Thanks!

Not sure about it in your case, but re-downloading the file helps sometimes (because the archive might have got damaged during the first download).

That is what I am assuming this message means (no, I took Spanish in high school, not Italian). So even if the files extract, they may be corrupt. That is why I think the "test" option should be selected in WinRAR to see if the download was bad.

Try updating your version of winRAR. I had the same trouble and though I should try and see if it was winRAR that was the trouble and it was because after I got the new version (3.42) the headers were alright

Kuhl was right! It seems that my old version of WinRAR couldnt manage to display the text you added by the name of the file (EX. these are the TIZ files. They will become the area tiles during the install).SirBillyBob! The file was not corrupted. All is solved! Thanks people for your help! :D

I use 3.30 of WinRAR. How old was your first version of it? Must have gone back a ways.
