any recomendations on incopatibility issues?
There was some incompatability issues with this and TDD. The author made a TDD patch I would recomend using. Also make sure you use the fixed TP2s provided by Horred at his Yahoo group for TDD and SoS. Finally, Andyr made a mostly fixed version of the TS version which is 602 that you might also want to use first.
Also, IIRC Desicration of Souls is incomapable due to it altering part of the graveyard affested by one of the "big three". It is listed as "N" on the compatability list.

Until Andyr can incorporate the fixes to the tp2 file that I posted on the Yahoo site, you are much better off using my package when installing TS with TDD and SoS. Why? Because I took these two mods into consideration when making my package.

Of course I would listen to Horred before me. You know, since he created this and all.

I have looked at all three tp2 (TS600, TS602 and Horred's fixed one)
1. basically, what Horred did with the original TS600 was to put files in specific TS-something folders, instead of the override folder. also, he did tweak the Scripts part, I guess considerind TDD and SOS. Am I right?
2. Andyr's changes were simplifying (?) the Scripts part only to using the EXTEND_TOP command for all of them
3. the only other significant dofference between TS600 and TS601-602 is adding the optional GUI that Vlad made for his mod. the TS602.tp2 installs that into the override. Perhaps you could biff that as well (biffing is dark area for me still)
My conclusion: for a fixed TS602 you could only look at the scripts section and make a working compromise between Horred's and Andyr's changes and handle the new GUI (if needed at all). otherwise, use Horred's tactic of NOT throwing everything into the override
I don't know if I'm completely right about all this but I just thought I could offer my help. I actually have my version of a 'fixed' TS602 tp2. If you guys want to take a look at it, I can post it here or PM it.

Well, the reason why files go into specific folders is so that they get biffed.1. basically, what Horred did with the original TS600 was to put files in specific TS-something folders, instead of the override folder. also, he did tweak the Scripts part, I guess considerind TDD and SOS. Am I right?

CtB has certain incompatibilities with the big three, one being the Docks District crash bug. However, CtB has certain bugs with itself as well. Unless you know some modding, it is preferable that you don't install CtB at this moment.thank you for the advices as posted above i've confirmed DoS beeing incompatible as well as some other mods giving parse errors and what not. I might install everything anew to test every single mod and post about the errors i get. btw. as far as i understood bp is not needed for the weidued versions of TDD/SoS/TS or am i wrong. and furthermore anyone had concret experiences about CtB? is it possibly compatible with the above big 3?

The way the .tp2 was set up the script compilation and extension didn't work properly. Stuff was getting overwritten in places, breaking some things, and there were a few unneccesary lines of code. Vlad released my changes as 6.02. It was a simplification and a bugfix.
Some points from me:
- I made the fixes as I noticed the bugs while playing. I can't guarantee there's no more bugs, I only fixed what I saw at a glance in the .tp2. I've not got very far in TS so I don't know if there's any other bugs in it.
- I do not play, nor do I expect to play in the near future, BP-BGT-NEJ1-NEJ2-DSOTSC-NTOTSC-BG1NPC-SOBH or anything. Just TS-WeiDU over a BGII install. So I don't try to make any guarantees and cannot make any comments about what will happen if you are playing the aforementioned beast.

I should probably write again what I did to the TS .tp2 file, since there seems to be a little confusion.

As most of the "beast" mods Andyr mentions come after BP, and will if they ever are included, they won't be a concern. Many already come with checks for BP, that will merely need some fine-tuning adjustment. Vlad has made it very clear that NeJ will never be allowed to be made compatible with even BP (unless he does it himself, within his mod--and I have sincere doubts on this seeing as he's never installed BP, nor intends to). The concern that I have is strictly with TS functionality in BP (namely, the upcoming BP-weidu). TS has been a part of BP since its early stages, and TS weidu was the inspiration for the weidu-ization of the other two mods (and the BP addon itself). As such, it SHOULD be made compatible with at least the TDD and SoS mods. That is what I did. I made certain that it appended or extended--not overwrote, important files. I had it check for the "triggering" files that I left in the override after the biffing of TDD and SoS--POSNOW.cre and CBKBAKER.cre--and do certain things in these cases. Then, I biffed the whole package up. I left the file KACHIKOD.cre in the override, and added checks to both TDD and SoS for this file. These three check-files will also come in handy for any additional "beast" mods, as Andyr so kindly put it.
The files that were a major concern of this check: MUSICLIS.IDS (not the 9-character MUSICLIST), KIT.IDS and KITLIST.2DA (I left TDD as the "master" file, since both the kits in SoS and TS are NPC kits only), WSPATCH.2da and WSPECIAL.2da (already existing in TDD---TDD acts as master since this is only optional in TS)), plus AR0406.BCS,AR0702.ARE, and AR0702.BCS(both mods make other changes to these areas, not accounted for by the TS-weidu I found--these 3 files I left with TDD and SoS as the masters, since that component of TS is merely optional). Not a lot really, not much to ask for in the name of compatability--but ignoring these few files could cause some major in-game issues.
While the user of a standalone TS mod wouldn't be concerned with the biffing, a person with a mid-low machine SHOULD be--even in a TS-NeJ2 solo install! Just because a modmaker has a mid to top-notch machine, does not imply by default that his fans will. And certainly, a user of BP would be concerned with this as well. Override folder of a GB or more have been proven to cause lag issues in lessor (and even some mid-grade) machines. By biffing the TS (and TDD/SoS) files, I have eliminated this concern altogether.
As far as file fixes to TS, I fixed only a few--I didn't actually play the mod conglomeration, so Andyr's fixes are probably the boss files here: ANISND.IDS, aRIBALD.D (SoS also adds to it, I merely made it an appender not an overwriter), bIMOE25.d (can't remember what I did here, hehe), sAR2600 and sAR6200 .bcs extenders, plus VALYGND and YOSHIMOD .2da's (these two were overlooked textually, if I recall).
Seeing as my changes to the TS.tp2 were minimal, I could easily add mine to the TS-weidu 6.02 version, and re-release the package I have on the BP Yahoo site. I won't worry about this until BP-weidu is released, and will include it inside of the BP-weidu package. It currently exists in a format that will overwrite/add to the proper TS-weidu folders and files already existing within a game folder. (e.g, TS/anim/ids/ANISND.IDS)

Thank you for not only being awre of that, but taking it into considration and giving us a good work around then having to manually biff the override (which was tricky, till I finally got the hang of it). Means alot (at least to me) you look out for those of us with "lesser" systems.

Please do not take this phrase as a criticism - I have seen the mod collection referred to as this and other terms e.g. "monster") by the creators/maintainers themselves, including I believe the title of a sticky thread.
My point was my fixes are not made from a BP-etc standpoint.

i want to install the big 3 tdd/sos/ts weidu versions can i already install them or should i wait for the weidu version of bp?
furthermore i can't find the 6.0 version of TS for which you made the modified .tp2 file can i use version 6.02 with the modified .tp2 from you??
thank you in advance for your replies.
p.s: ctb 1.50 has some changes made to be compatible with SoS thus i believe fixing the world map problem between the two of them. and if i install BP-BGT Worldmap v3.rar this problem should be fixed as it will replace the whole map or is that a no??
